This amp is just incredible. Blackstar does it again and pushes that envelope a little further. There is simply not a better bang for buck out there. It can do it all and sounds amazing.

I just got a HT 60 212 combo and I started seeing HT 60 Mark II and was wondering what the difference was but I couldn't find a video until I saw this one which explained everything, thanks for the explanation and such great detail and the examples

Sounds great! Why don’t manufacturers make midi channel switching a default these days? How much in cost could if add to the amp?

Charles Vokrachko I agree. More companies should do midi switching. I almost bought the big katana head over this because of that, but hopefully someday blackstar will release a mark 3 with midi

Adding an external bias adjustment would be a great addition. I'm not willing to go inside the amp to adjust the bias when I'm changing tubes.

Nice but,include the 5 button footswitch ,I thought only Roland did this..I have a couple of Mesa amps and they give full featured options on their footswitches. I am still going to buy your 212 combo because it will be the one for gigs and hope for the best.Sounds better than Marshalls.

My question is regarding the 5 button footswitch (FS-14) on the HT 50 MKII - what does pressing the OD 2 button actually do since it only has controls for OD 1? Do all the 5 footswitch buttons work on the HT 5 MKII?

Is the main difference between this MkII and the HT Club 50 the usb options, the lower wattage option and the super crunch? Can you get good dirty distortion on the HT Club 50? I have a the HT Stage 60 and love it but its heavy, and I'm thinking of getting one of these, but don't want to sacrifice tone, OD and volume. Would either HT Club 50 be a solid replacement?

Am I the only one who's noticed the amp have the wattage button labled 6 and 60 when it's supposed to be a 50 watt amp? I'm confused.

They showed another amp on that screen shot, but the principle is the same on all the amps in the series. For instance, the 100 watts goes down to 10 watts with the switch.

Can you run the head without speakers attached, similar to what Friedman are doing with their Runt20?

The head is 50W, the combo next to it is 60W
