Great demo...sounds nice. Can you explain me the difference of the EQ sounds? I hardly can hear difference on my 40 V2. The other question is that do you have some hiss or buzz on some channel? Third...when using headphones ...volume is low even knob is full. By the way...is vintage EQ USA style? I think your final set is Crunch. Basically I like my amp very much. My guitar for reference is Iba RG321 with INF pups.
@chusssMusic
@chusssMusic 4 жыл бұрын
1- EQ is between vintage British sound and modern American sound with scooped mids. 2- I get some hiss yes when the gain is a bit too high. 3- about the headphones maybe you are using some mobile phone ear phones? I don't have this problem when I use studio headphones. Try a different set It is a good amp for practice and the price is ok for that, but of course you can not squeeze everything out of it :)

Depends Kurt Cobain used alot of pedals and amps, maybe give what song you want or album then it be easier to see what you need to get his sound, this amp does alot but you might need a pedal like the bigmuff, it's like fuzz type.
@pwnshhhop51
@pwnshhhop51 3 жыл бұрын
I don’t know about amp settings, but Kurt used Boss DS-1 and DS-2 pedals, so you can start with those and adjust the amp as needed.

Increase the feedback knob or in the case of this amp turn it to right more until you get the number of repeats you want.

Won't this ISF reduce your control over the amp? you have 3 separate control knobs (bass,middle & treble) in most amps, but not in this. I'm a beginner so let me know what you think about this.
@chusssMusic
@chusssMusic 4 жыл бұрын
3 knobs for EQ gives you more control for sure, but this works like a mixer between vintage and modern EQ sound or British/American.

I've been looking at getting an amp like this and in other videos they show the 'Insider' software, where you can connect to it and get full access to all the tone controls and other downloadable profiles.
@theblytonian3906
@theblytonian3906 Жыл бұрын
No. You have full bass middle treble EQ as well as resonence and presence control in Architect the new software for V3 ID:Core amps. With it you can set the individual controls to your preference and save them as preselectable patches/your voicings, or use it hooked up to USB if you really wanted to have hot control over individual settings. The ISF control is a no brainer on amp control way of instantly shaping/varying the overall tone to British or Amercian and in between. As a beginner you really should be looking for simplicity in operational ergonomics not complexity. Don't get carried away with feature hype hypotheticals the majority of which you won't know how to configure let alone use in the first 3-5 years. It's about how it how it sound and pragmatic job versatility. Modern digital modelling amps have a huge learning curve, and although one can read the hypotheticals from their 'manual', it takes exposure over time hands on to learn to apply and use them properly to achieve what's wanted if the player even knows what that is? You won't find a better amp/sound for home practice volume levels and average room size than Blackstar's full range super wide stereo feature. If one takes away the brand fanboy nonsense BOSS, Marshall, Orange, Fender, this is a perfect practice amp for everyone, not just "beginners" with added benefit of being exceptionally appealingly priced comparatively everywhere outside the US.
