Thank you for spending a good amount of time on the clean and lower gain sounds. Most players go straight to high gain.

Mine (Blackstar Silverline Deluxe Head - 100-watt) just arrived today and I love it! The 2 clean channels sound excellent. I also dimed the gain and volume on those clean channels with the EL34s and it is so responsive. Just enough breakup and sounds just like a pushed tube amp. I'm gonna try some boost and overdrive pedals on the front end of those channels next to push it a little harder and see what I get there. Running it through a 2x12 Egnater cabinet with Celestions. Crunch and OD channels sound great too, but I don't need that much gain.

4 months later and how do you feel? Love what I've heard online but haven't got to play one
@jfonlinenow14 жыл бұрын
Nicolas Ortiz love it more everyday. The real secret sauce is in that ISF control. Every amp should have something like that. I’ve used the amp for some recording and live performances and still discovering more great sounds it’s capable of.

70% percent of the sound of any amp is the speaker.....putting a Celestion V Type speaker in these cabs was brilliant.

You would think they would have figured that out ages ago ? 🤔 LOL

This sounds really awesome. I like your strat. What pickups are you using?

You know that bent metal bar you keep leaving in your guitar case? The one with a screw thread at one end and a plastic cap at the other? If you screw that into the little hole in the bridge, you can do that neat "wobbly note"vibrato trick a lot more easily. Just sayin'...

THAT IS WHAT IT DOES?! Gave mine to a customer who needed one a long time ago. Never needed or wanted it. ;)

It would have been great if you would have shared the features of the amp

Playing rehearsals with a drummer and also wanting decent home volume. 20W or 50W version? Does the 20W sound boxier?
@markg92544 жыл бұрын
50w is easily loud enough
@isaacarussi58223 жыл бұрын
The 50 would probably be better if you want some more bass response cause if the 12 inch speaker compared to the 10 inch in the 20

I’m not sure weather to get this or a Marshall dsl the silverline is certainly more versatile.
@jamdalf43434 жыл бұрын
Silverlines are Stereo capable which I'd prefer. Marshalls are most likely going to be Mono which I can't handle anymore. Silverlines are kinda expensive, for about the same price of a Blackstar Silverline Stereo Deluxe 200watt 2x12 you could get two Boss Katana MK2 100watt Combos and hook them up in "Stereo Link" mode for extreme versatility. Silverlines's mod dly rvb only have four effects each (no Uni-vibe etc) and can't be swapped out with newer effects in the Insider software. Now everybody knows Boss Katanas have tons of effects, one for every occasion lol! Silverline's Effects Loop and Noise Gate are still a little funky but not on the Katanas. If you got the money maybe even get two Katana Artist MK2s going in Stereo Link mode? PS: If you got a couple Speaker Cabs laying around get two Boss Katana MkII 100watt Heads and do the Stereo Link thing!

It sounds like ID Core to mewhich has that awesome SuperWide Stereo, so whats the difference?
@waylong254 жыл бұрын
It basically is an ID model, but with upgraded (imo) aesthetics and a better speaker
@markg92544 жыл бұрын
These are wayyyyyyy better sound than a id core in real life. I tried thd id core 150 vs the silverline 100 silverline blew it away.

Blackstar has just re-packaged the Blackstar ID TVP series in new housings - How is this any different from the Blackstar ID TVP series ?? on the Blackstar ID TVP series you could never really shut down the noise gate, even though technically you could from the software, but you would still feel that there is a noise gate somewhere in the mix while paying, you could feel that in your fingers.
@waylong254 жыл бұрын
This has a better constructed cab and a better speaker than the ID series of old.

i wish they could add fx loop what a stupid move to ignore it lol
@BAND-MAID-USA Жыл бұрын
It has FX loop. Just have to set it up in the app. It changes the aux input and headphone input to an FX loop. What I really wish it had was a master volume. Or at least a wattage step down. But if it had a master volume it’d be perfect imo.

Someone get this poor guy a dam whammy. And a maybe a pick so we can here what it will sound like to 99% of guitar players. Pretty kick ass tho imo.
