There are grease cups available at Walmart. I cooked 15 or 16 double patty smash burgers on mine, but it did take a while. I used 4 grease cups to do it. The cleanup is so easy! I turned it down, I pushed all the grease out, poured water on it, pushed it out, then more water and wiped it down. It took half the time as a regular steel griddle takes. The temp heats up fast and cools down fast. That’s the magic of aluminum.

How quickly does the Blackstone cool down and how long does a propane canister last?

Thanks for watching! All depends on outside temp and how hot it was, its aluminum so cool down is pretty quick. The canister will go for about an hour or so depending on setting and outside temp

I always love your videos Mr tom but that coating wears off in no time no matter how you baby it. At this point i couldn't get connected with blackstone whenever my coating started coming off and now i can't find my receipt. I guess my only option is to sand blast it. I would love to know your thoughts on that.

@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ No, I think its decent especially for traveling. I am just tired of seeing Blackstone products destroyed right out of the packaging. They need to fix their packaging and make it more robust to survive shipping or, they need to stop sending half of them to Walmart and reserve them at their own warehouse for online orders from Walmart. Because Walmart employees are probably the ones responsible for these shipping outcomes, not Fedex, UPS, etc. Fedex and UPS and others are struggling so bad, I doubt they are the ones causing the damage, they tend to treat their employees well, pay them well enough not to break things unlike Walmart employees, and I've seen them treat their workers with automated lifters and palette jacks so its easy for the worker. I'm assuming the damage starts in a Walmart warehouse because they move and re-arrange stuff around their warehouse ALL DAY long.
