There are new model teams in many countries like Hongkong etc I was so proud even we are having same in Kolkata though not new why they want to stop trams I remember my childhood traveling by tram better if we can start new models and continue

nah, they are just cheaply made/maintained at the tram depots. using sheet iron, hammers and hand wielding machines. then they get deformed due exposure to direct sunlight and heat for many many years.
