I’ve found if I just bought better wax I have zero “issues” to deal with! I will never hassle with soy 464 or any other “problematic wax” like I used as a new chandler, ever again! Thank you so much for such great explanations! There are so many videos without noting temperatures. Also, “FO burning off” is a myth. I have such easy wax I know exactly what temp to heat my wax up to, when to add my FO and I only have to stir about 30 seconds or so. The FO is thoroughly stirred into the wax and I get great CT and HT as long as the FO itself is good. This was an excellent video! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 Bravo!!

I LOVE Tunneling candles!! I find ZEN in carefully removing the RIMMED WAX from the sides and leveling the candle out, and when I get enough 'SCRAPPED WAX' I melt, pour, repeat!! Plus it is FUN to mix colors, fragrance, and mica's to see what it creates!! 😊

14:20 She used the same wicks from the candles she melted down. Therefore the wicks DO work with the wax they originally came with. Also the length of the wicks works for the same reason.

I don't know if it is a supposition or just "connecting the dots" but I remember stumbling across the 2+ minute stir as a suggestion to make sure everything, including dye chips, was fully dissolved and blended together while waiting on the wax to reach pour temp. Then again I stumbled on it when reading about the Alex method and how others were posting directions to pour at 115F because that is what the supply centers said. You would need more stirring if the materials are colder to blend them.
@BlackTieBarn2 жыл бұрын
Yah it really all depends on your materials and your processes for sure. Different waxes are more forgiving as well

Wade I have one fragrance oil that no matter how much I stir the fragrance can settle and seep through the candle while curing or sitting on my self. I have tried 8% FO and still happens. The frail is bourbon butterscotch. Do you have any tips for me on how I can stop this issue from happening for me?
