For those of you wondering, flipping a tigershark upside down puts it on a trance like state called tonic immobility. During this state, most of its sense slow, causing it to kind of relax. A shark like this will only stay in this state for a about 15 minutes, so it should be ok being left like this. The stress of it being caught, however, may be what kills it if it died.

Eddie Hall, the first or second strongest man in the world (depends on who you ask) lifted basically this half ton shark in a single deadlift, as well as Thor Bjornson. Seeing the size of the shark, and the weight, gives a better idea of how much it actually is. Impressive.

Sharks don't stay flipped, the layout of their fins will ensure they'll go upright within several seconds at the most. And even if tonic immobility sets in, it goes away within a minute and it causes no lasting damage.
