This is why Max Kellerman did not work. SAS could be all in his feelings, chest pumped up, angry, yelling, name calling, and Max would just look at him with a straight face, completely un-phased by it all. Max spoke with facts. Did he say dumb shit sometimes? Sure, we all do, but SAS often responds with his feelings, and does not like to be refuted. That's why JJ would never be able to sit next to him. JJ embarrasses SAS far worse than Max ever did, because he actually played as a pro and is a historian of the game. SAS was definitely in his feelings here.

James Harden get fat everytime he wanna switch teams and he still get a max deal. Wall been hurt for about 5yrs now that man was on a max deal. Even the halfway decent players get big deals.

Reid understood successful coaches fit systems around players but only NE ran an air raid component system nfl was never friendly to air raid quarterbacks. Why thier was greatvpausexwith Patrick remember his nfl grade was 6.30 that’s a fourth round grade. Patrick was fortunate he had Alex smith the ultimate quarterback coach. When he was at Utah university he volunteered at local high school helping quarterbacks as a quarterback coach. Alex will be an nfl HC one day. Patrick got the right head coach who utilized his skill set in his preferred system. Great results! I’d wager any other system would be much more pedestrian. A lot of sircraid quarterbacks busted out simply because they never had opportunities in thier preferred offense. Talent was their system and coach flexibility was not.

But whenever he has a chance to dog on kyrie THE PERSON, he won't give up that chance. Personally, I think it stems from when they let kyrie come on ESPN, and they had all these questions for kyrie. And all he had was a bunch of word salad responses, dancin around all them questions like he how be dancin on the court. SAS even said after the interview, or the next day, I'm not sure, that him comin on was a complete waste of time. And ever since then, I feel SAS feels some kind a way about kyrie...personally speaking. I think thats what Jay was alluding to about him being triggered whenever kyrie comes up as a topic. But I could be wrong though.

It's not his fault that Kyrie keeps doing weird sh*t that put him on front page, why doesn't Steven A do that with Lebron/Curry/Giannis etc etc? The victim mentality is strong with y'all

Man Idc what anybody says Kyrie stood on his beliefs regardless of how anyone else felt about it. You don't get that a lot these days at all so I respect him on and off the court. Nothing wrong with someone telling you how they feel straight up. I am also a person who has a hard time sugar coating things I'm straightforward to a fault I do come off as rude sometimes because of it.

Kyrie is a solid dude they been trashing his character left and right because for personal reasons that he clearly explained in the past missed games trying to find a balance being young trying figure out his purpose outside of his job as far as being a humanitarian wanting to do more and giving a fuc" about people he clearly said he just needed a break from it all to regroup his thoughts so he could have balance in my opinion ,but charles ,shaq steven a smith the media pushes this narrative about him as this ignorant self young man and when i hear him speak hes far from that and when i read how he gives back selfish is far from his character and doesnt apply to him ,work ethic u dont have the game he has unless you work on your craft period thats years of putting in work on your game to be as good as he is at ball, but what also takes time is growth from a young man to a man and he speaks on certain things those that criticize have never even read or looked up before ,barkley ran for office i believe and doesnt understand politics at all iny book this shit is getting old and its not new when u speak truth or stand out as a man and not let people shape you into what they feel u should be or u learn something that they are afraid to learn they mark you a villain

I don’t think anybody arguing his character. It’s a question of commitment. He made a commitment to a team. A team that also a business. You can’t blame the business for setting stipulations, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, because they are in the business of winning. When you have a track record like Kyrie for missing so many games even if you can justify the reasons you can’t blame the team for being like “why are we gonna give max dollars to a part time player” That’s just common sense. I usually side with the player when it comes to making money but you really can’t blame the team here for doing what they did
