Wow, those falls a spectacular. Free Admission into the State Parks, awesome, sure would be nice if all the States did that. Angie says the view from Lindy Point is beautiful. What is the cost to stay in the Campground? Thanks for the video Lou and Melody!!

We love this area. So much to do. The average is $42 a night and electric only. Not far away you can find Canaan Valley State Park and they have full hookups. Thanks for watching Angie, Sean and of course Jazz - Melody

Mmm, picnic lunch...and, with KFC, wow, cant go wrong with that! lol I bet it was delicious! Looked like a beautiful day you had for one, too! Great video you guys!!! I think Ed and I are just going to do a big "TOUR" of all the places in WV that you have done videos on over the Summer !!! The videos are so fun and all the parks and attractions are so beautiful !! Blackwater Falls SP looks amazing! Wow,, beautiful falls ! ... at the bottom, where the pool forms, are you allowed to swim in there? Im guessing, not. I saw at the Alakala falls, it did say NO swimming. Amazing landscape all throughout the park too! Hey, one silly, little, "vicky" question for ya Lou, when you all were out and about, in the forest, hiking there, did you carry your...bear spray with you ? With alot more people in the forest during the summer, I wasn't sure if you needed it as much, as when you go hiking in the later months. Any way, I still cant wait to visit there! Fun little gift shop, and the Smokehouse Restaurant look fabulous!!!! Have you all ever eaten there? Have you ever stayed at the Lodge ? Take care and thanks for sharing this video with us ! Swimming is not allowed immediately above or below the falls, but that didn't stop me from snapping a photo of a village idiot sitting atop the falls with his legs dangling over the cliff. I opted not to include that photo in the video. A stay at either Canaan Valley State Park Lodge or the Blackwater Falls State Park lodge would be a great vacation. Better yet, catch our video this upcoming Thursday on our Canaan Valley condo rental, which even at retail price is more economical that a full week stay in either state park lodge. Lou
