Private servers are able to upgrade textures by adding a patch mpq file.

A little bit, more content, ZG and BWL. So a couple more days to raid log on, but did 2019 classic so not enough "new" content to get hyped about. The dungeons aren't coming for a long time it looks like. Phase 6 or 7, Aggrend tweeted not to get excited by the datamined info, said it was future and not finished content that will be coming later. Also sounded liked some of it was for internal testing only and not coming at all. At least The War Within is good and has exciting stuff coming since Cata is dead. It is good exp pack so far, and BRD raid looks awesome.

Yeah SoD made classic feel better in PvE. PVP is a mess because they haven't figured it out yet but God damn everything is fun. I'm biased because I got ironfoe in SoD on my war for the first time ever

This is the first I've heard about the high-res textures potentially being a thing. To be honest, I totally wouldn't mind the models and texture resolution from retail. As long as the gameplay and systems of classic stay the same.

I don't see anyone doing 40 man. I didn't see it this phase when they could. Heck most guilds want to do it with fewer ppl. We did Heat 2 with 14 people last week and it was faster than a full 20. 😂

Absolutely, I think it would be awesome if we got new dungeons to fill in the gaps here or there. They don't even have to be as high effort as a max level dungeon, but a few new locations here or there, for example Stonetalon, Redridge, etc, would be amazing.

Checked out this vid to see if there's anything worth sticking around for, as the sub ends next week. No changes to encourage people to play non av bgs (specifically ab, which is my favorite), no changes to wsg being a terrain exploiting crap fest (and that's before trying to connect on a druid efc that has a hunter dropping frost traps seemingly every 6 seconds)....... And zero changes to lock pet raid survivability. I've had a pet die 7x on a single fight before.... It's just bloody infuriating that this is the only version of wow that requires pet dps (real vanilla doesn't) but doesn't give them near immunity to aoe/cleave (every other version does).... Beyond that, they never should have messed with class design....Think I'll wait for the next "fresh" and if blizz touches class design again I'll just play on Tuttle instead. This isn't vanilla+ right now is vanilla - with retail class design.

I'm not necessarily a fan, but the way I view it is that this is an open beta where they can throw as many things to the board as possible and experiment. I absolutely want a pure Fresh Experience that's 2019 with very minimal touches (Chronoboon, Stormrend, etc), but for Classic+, I do actually want "new but Classic" content.

@@EbonhardtTV How I always saw classic, and I can say majority of old-school community saw it even 15 years ago, is mash of vanilla/tbc playstyle (leveling, legendary quests and events, ie: scarablord,war effort, etc), no level ups, but new content only, no space thingy bs, no flying at all EVER, no worldquests, no multiple raid/dungeon difficulties/sizes, keep attunements, etc...none of that...keep the spirit and build on top of it, not "improve" it.
