Holy cow dude! You got some mad skillz! Total jelly!

OK, Thank you for this nice video. I' just ordered one after seeing this video. It flies so well it looks, and I have the older Blade 230S.
@sionjones16754 жыл бұрын
you probably already know this, but if not... The reason the heli hovers slightly leaning right, is because the tail rotor gives a little thrust to the right (to counter the main rotor rotation), and this actually results in making the heli moving sidewaysto the left - so in order to counter THIS the heli leans over slightly to the right. On a heli with the main rotor blade rotating counter clockwise, it would end up hovering with the right side skid slightly lower.

I had a very bad skid dance powering up and down at a certain headspeed. I tightened up the blades and it was gone. Love this little helicopter.

I took the new 230s V2 esc and 230s motor and installed them in my 250 cfx. Its super smooth. Im not into 3D so this works for me.

your flying is amazing my 230 v1 is shaky on takeoff need to hold left i got the night version wish i would have just lit up a v2 but im still happy learning and loving it the led blades are nice to stare at a firebrand in the sky

dude just casually talks about his heli while flying, meanwhile my brain is broken trying to understand why it is no longer bound by the laws of physics...
@zoomtt6 жыл бұрын
silverraven30601 LOL thanks😁
@michaelfrandsen52005 жыл бұрын
Wow, what do you know of the bound by the laws of physics??? It's simple math and it actually works as a real Chopper only not on the head, but not because it can't be done. The reason he can fly on the head and so is because he can turn the big blades so they have the same uplift when it's upside down as when it's normal. Only it's hard to learn to do, but this is pure laws of flying like a big Chopper. And they are as hard to fly as real big Choppers. He can do this also because it's small and has so much engine power, but it looks wild, but the physics are exactly the same. No cheating here.
@kevinh52185 жыл бұрын
It follows the laws of physics but the motor and rotorhead combination give way more power than on a lifesize helicopter so you can do a lot more aerobatic tricks.

I'm almost 51 and flew 30 size Century helicopters and Raptors. Just got back into it. Went to get a battery for a crappy drone at my local hobby store. And there it was. Perfect size and collective pitch for $300. And no messy fuel to deal with. Impressed is an understatement. Technology has come a long way. Well the drone is collecting dust with no battery. I'm already looking at the Blade 450 to keep my version 2 company that i just bought. I do very little 3D. So here is my question. Everything I've researched is screaming simulator. Real flight 9 or the Phoenix simulator. Your comments would and will be greatly appreciated. And pricing does not concern me.
@sganzerlag3 жыл бұрын
Fwiw, simulators will make you prpgress faster and more cheaply (cost of crashes in the sim is zero). However, I personally think it is more fun to learn on the helis. I never did get a sim, even though it would have sped my progress. Been flying helis since 2013. Learned on a Blade Nano QX and then bought a Blade 450x. Had lots of fun learning, way more fun than I would have had on a simulator.
@ronaldjones87973 жыл бұрын
@@sganzerlag this comment was posted a year ago. And I totally agree. Bought the Realflight 9. To be honest. I've used it maybe a dozen times. I like the real hands on with the actual heli.

I have been flying the night version of the 230s. My impression of this V1 version is that it is a bit sluggish on 3d moves versus the V2 based on seeing your flight. Also I have noticed a slight tendency of the V1 to roll to the right on flips. The V2 looks more locked into me...is this your impression?
@chipkankel40736 жыл бұрын
Are you working the collective when hitting bailout or does it automatically go negative to positive?
@zoomtt6 жыл бұрын
You will need to add collective. so in this case its press bail out and raise collective stick.

You went from a basic hover. to an inverted backside Hurricane. and the V1 does this ?
@BlvlWmpower4 жыл бұрын
Hurricanes, yes they are so dope to fly backwards fast. Nice video overall.
@profsacin6 жыл бұрын
So, is this one more aggressive? More power? I like how light they are and tough on crashes. But my original 230s is ok to flip, gentle piro flips and some slow 3D stuff like funnels but not powerful enough for much else. Not even tick tocks I think. This looks similar from the video.
@zoomtt6 жыл бұрын
flyamil yes it is similar in power as the v1

Great videos, I appreciate your skills and commentary! I have about 50 flights on the night version 230s v1 and really love it. Is it possible to upgrade the v1 to v2 or is the v2 a completely different platform?

Tom Bonavita yes. I forgot the complete list but it's mainly the esc, main gear, tailblade, and fbl controller

Bail out mode is unpredictable as fuck though... I would have preferred if the system always picks the same way of recovering, that way it is also useable in more confined spaces.

Grazie
