Just ran across this ! Great vid and I like your little trick tapping the rod to get the trebles untangled. Probably the most aggravating thing when throwing blades.

Bass Blaster suggested your Blade Bait Video so, here I am. Love me them Blade Baits. Usually use 1/4 oz and 1/8 oz in shallow water (4-10’). Great video and loved seeing you crush them in cold water. Thank you.

These vids of you fishing around here remind me of the ole WGFS Michigan circle of trust episode. "Those fish aint up here! Gotta go to the weedlines" as you hook one under the guys dock. Still makes me laugh every time im on that lake.

That's an interesting looking blade at 8:53 with the front hook being all the way at the front of the bait, wonder if that helps with the hook not hanging up on the line? That was a problem i was having a lot for a while but this year i improved it a lot by using short shank hooks and a regular split ring instead of a snap. Where do you come across such a strange looking blade lol i always like trying new things
@240LTS5 жыл бұрын
Good pick up on that bait with the front nose hook. I researched and fish different blades (and homemade ones) quite often but I have never seen that model. More research is in order. .Jeff.

Mark, love your videos and wish you were still on BASSMASTERS. You brought a lot to the show with Tommy Sanders. Back to the video, on one hand you say cast as far as you can but then you bring the boat right over the fish. Why not find the fish on the unit, drop a marker buoy off to the side of where you want to fish then back off and cast to the fish?....... I am fishing blade baits now (2018 Winter) for stripers and they work quite well.

haha, abducted by an alien. Seriously, I get you MAAAAANNN. We are one in the same spiritually. Thanks for the video Z! I do have a request for you about your crackin' tubes videos. When exactly do you crack the rod back and forth? After feeling a bite, or just random to get nearby fish to bite?
