Thanks for the loop knot tip. Tied all my blade bait hooks this way and didn’t lose one fish in a win last weekend. I’m definitely gonna do this on the rest.

Nelly's fishing Adventures Hey, I’m doing the same this weekend. I figure the blade bait would be good for jigging. So how did that work for you?

Uge Smallies!!! ❤️
@GardensoftheAncientsHerbal6 жыл бұрын
wow really I throw double hook instead of a treble and they don't come off. I catch 5-8lbs smallies and they slam that thing and never come off. Typically they hit it so hard it almost pulls the reel out my hand. I can't recall where I didn't use pliers to get the hooks out. Only reason i stop using them is cuz i limit out and have to keep the fish cuz they gut hook so quickly. and I am burning that bait so it's not like im letting them take it deep.

I like the Arthur Fonzarelli net where do I get one? Nice fish! ❤️ My best setup for “ultimate feel” is a spinning rod w/10 lb braid of my choice, tiny spro swivel, and 15 lb floro leader @18”. typically fishing deep, tiny spro swivel is part of the frenzy of the smallies are on the 🐜 bug hatch 30’ down (teaser). And of course 1 red hook. Fire tiger is the weirdest color but gets hammered by Uge fish. Any color works. We’re sick about the Blaid up North. Works good through the ice too.

Hey Gene - great video good Sir . Big fan !!! I live here on Ft.Loudoun Lake on the TVA . Some guys round here are kinda gun-shy about using fluro in cold water . I hear that their worry is that fluro gets brittle when the water gets below 50° My thoughts are I don't want my fish seeing the mono in the clear water of the winter . Just wondering what your thoughts were on the subject . Thanks

Pain in butt to tie that braid on...just use split rings!
@Flukemaster5 жыл бұрын
Most split rings create a weak spot that won’t be noticed until you loose a big one.

If it keeps making that noise it's the bearings. Next time you clean it flush the bearings before you oil them

Why is it that lure manufacturers always put the wrong hooks and/or attachments on their lures? Everyone of the “KZbin Fishing Experts” call for lure hook replacements. You’d think a multi-million dollar company would hire these guys to “correct” their product.
