Buddy's Gift to Bass Fishing (The Original Silver Buddy Blade Bait!)

Thanks to Paul "Buddy" Banks we can all enjoy some great cold water bass fishing! His invention in 1983 of the Original Silver Buddy blade bait has helped tons of anglers put bass in the boat when nothing else worked. That's exactly what happened for me on this day. While I didn't catch any big bass, I still caught fish and like many times before, multiple species!

My dad fishes these. He said they used to remove the rear treble hook. He said they always caught them on the front set and it kept them from hanging up.

If you're looking for something even lighter, try the Reef Runner Cicada, it's another blade bait that comes in 1/8th oz. and even 1/16th oz. sizes with dozens of different color patterns, they can be casted and swimmed back too so the river smallies here hit em on the pop'n'swim.
