Thanks a lot! 😎 I thought something was wrong, but I also missed to read that line in the manual that talks about the stick on binding 😅 Funny that I'm not the only one with this problem

Thanks for the rudder to the right tip on binding to DX radio. Fixed my problem, which is very closely related to RTFM 🙂

The manual says to hold the rudder to the right, which I did. It doesn't say lower right corner.

Just the video I needed, thanks a lot. I bought the Nano S3, but used the file of the Nano S2. Flying the S3, I experienced power cut offs, so I was looking for a solution and found your video. Greetings from Switzerland.

I’m going to try and bind my Nano S3 RTF to my new NX 8 transmitter. I’m not sure if the RTF models will bind to the transmitter, any pointers?

@@CaptainLeo Which button and how do you set it up?

I have the same problem. No green light in "Normal mode" (Position 0 on the "B" switch) tried your trick of holding stick down and to the right, but that didn't solve it. Very weird how it's different than all the other Blade helis.

Would it also be possible to bind the nano s3 to your Spektrum DXS? I‘m asking cause i wrecked my rtf transmitter and wondering which new transmitter i should buy.
@CaptainLeo Жыл бұрын
I havent tried that, but it could be possible. You can download the manual for the dxs and the blade nano and between both you might get to figure it out. I've bound the DXS to several planes without issues. Alternatively perhaps find a black friday deal on a nx6. It's great having the screen for programming. Fyi, I always download the manuals and read them, before I buy something. The blade 230 comes rtf with the DXS.

At 8:12 what is that warning alarm? Why would that happen if batteries are fully charged?
@CaptainLeo2 жыл бұрын
Thats a battery warning alarm. You can set this value in the transmitter. Mine was set a bit high by default and the battery wasnt completely full. I reduced the alarm threshold in the transmitter later.

@@CaptainLeo hello sir I have the same problem with my nx6 I keep getting a warning but my battery’s full.
@CaptainLeo Жыл бұрын
@@glenn4452 Try to reduce the threshold on the alarm to a lover voltage, then your alarm won't go off until the battery reaches that voltage.
@glenn4452 Жыл бұрын
@@CaptainLeo okay thank you,of you don’t mind me asking what voltage should I use sir?
@CaptainLeo Жыл бұрын
@@glenn4452 That's personal preference. Lithium-ion battery operates between 3.0V and 4.2V. So im my case I decided that I don't want to begin a flight with less than 3.9 volts, so i set my alarm to 3.8 volts. Some of my older batteries won't charge to 4.2 any more, just 4v or 4.1. I'm not a battery expert, perhaps some other viewers can add their advice? The alarm is to help prevent you from starting a flight with a low battery, which may lead to a crash. Sometimes batteries can get mixed up. I recommend labeling all your batteries, as that can help you stay aware of which are used or still full.

I got an S3 Nano for Christmas and been struggling to get it bound to my NX8. THANK YOU! Now I am flying! Although... I have to bind it every time I take the battery out of the helicopter. I can shut the transmitter off and on, no problem. it stays bound, but I have to re-bind it every time I remove the battery from the helicopter. Is this correct or is there a trick to that to keep it bound? THANKS!!
@CaptainLeo2 жыл бұрын
Hello Pat, I only bind my NX8 to it once. Battery changes make no difference. Only if I bind the NX8 to a different aircraft, then I would need to rebind to the Blade Nano. Normally I change battery, put the nano flat on the ground and it binds after a few seconds.

I thought the NX series transmitters facilitated wi-fi downloading so no sd card is necessary. Why dload to cards when you can dload directly via Wi-Fi?
@CaptainLeo2 жыл бұрын
They do, and first time I updated the firmware over WiFi, it worked great. But the next time It didn't work over WiFi. Personally I found it faster / easier just to save to the SD card. But you can also try the WiFi method.
