Even though, later on in the movie, it becomes obvious that Joi was programmed that way, the way she says "I love you" before dying gets me every damn time.
@JeremyB84192 жыл бұрын
She exceeded her programming and became sentient and actually loved him. It’s not obvious in the film itself, but in the screenplay (script) Joi, K, and Deckard all refer to K as “Jo”, whereas the advertisement says “Joe.” Similarly, Joi says “Was a day?”, whereas the advertisement says “What a day.”
@ParkourEh2 жыл бұрын
@@JeremyB8419 Someone else pointed out that when K saw the Joi advertisement, he realized that his Joi wasn't like the others and grew beyond her original programming. Her holo emanator interrupted the conversation when the replicant sex worker was flirting with him too, but he never checked the device so it wasn't an actual notification. There's a deleted scene somewhere where Joi says "I love you", K: "You don't have to say that", and she replies with "I know." Also, his Joi did spend a bunch of his money to get the sex worker up to his apartment so they could be intimate. Can't imagine spending the customer's money without consent is good business practice lol

@@ParkourEh K wanted Joi to contact the prostitute. The sex scene is followed up by an advertisement for her that states she does “what you want”. It’s painfully obvious his relationship with her is just another lie consuming K’s life. She was never real, that’s the point of the “good Joe” scene.

That last scene with the ships leaving and the dog left behind is simply beautiful. It’s sad bc the dog is watching it’s owner leave but the scene it’s self is beautiful. The orange color of the sky. In ten years this movie will have a cult following like the first one. This movie is a masterpiece.

Beautiful scene. The dog witnessed everything that happened. Didn't bark at all. Somberly approaches the breach and looks off in futility and anguish and longing into a desolate landscape that is practically screaming back at him that there is absolutely nothing left for the animal in this world except a slow miserable death.

K killing 3 dudes with inhuman aim within like 4 seconds (right after getting blown up too) is so badass. It's like the second he feels the gun at the back of his head he goes into cold replicant killer mode

Luv was also a "human" replicant but a psychopath one. She knows to lie, she knows K loves Joi, and also has some strange behaviours like when she shed a tear or kissed K. Te actress really nailed it, Luv is very complex and has a big presence

After watching this scene I can't help but find Luv's death satisfying, even though I find drowning as one of the scariest ways to die, she had coming anything bad that could happen to her, for what she did to Deckard, Joi and K. The actress did an outstanding job making that character so despicable.
