Blade & Soul Earth SF Storm 1 VS Aransu 3 DPS test

A small DPS test for Aransu and Storm showing how much dps each can do with my current gear.
This does not mean one is better than the other at early stages, but raid paths will always be better than non raid paths at some point.
The reason my parse is higher on Storm is because I don't have the new bracelet, and full VT SS yet. That, and It was a messier parse than the Storm one.
For me,
Aransu average: 410K-425K DPS
Storm average: 435K-445K DPS
Reasons I would recommend Aransu:
Aransu scales much better with other gear and at later stages, as opposed to Storm not gaining much dps per upgrade. If fights have long mechanics that interrupt your ability to dps completely, this makes the Z reduction on Storm almost useless, since you will be waiting either way.
I would recommend Aransu if you plan on doing raids, or if you plan on upgrading or have good gear elsewhere.
Reasons I would recommend Storm:
It is effective from stage 1, so you don't need to worry too much about farming to upgrade your weapon. You can upgrade other gear instead. (Rift/Storm path is fantastic for alts/main alts)
Slightly easier to obtain. This one can be preference, but if you want to farm your gear, obtaining Blood Pearls now is fairly cheap, and only requires a small amount to upgrade. This vs farming for Hive Queen Hearts, Aransu Orbs and getting the breakthrough material from Raven to Aransu.
The biggest reason (and the main reason I upgraded Rift to use Storm ) is because the rotation is smooth as heck. Almost zero downtime, and is overall much nicer to use than Aransu IMO.
So which should I go for?
Aransu 100% recommend for those in it for end game/raids (full VT+)
Storm if you have an alt, prioritize fun, cannot raid or upgrade gear as frequent as other players.

Nice vid. I think in solo situations, Storm is better due to Focus Chi's low cd allows you to hit more Kingfist. But in a team with Soulburn, Aransu will be better due to elemental and Dragonfury's dmg bonus.

Im storm dragon 6 on my earth sf full vt gear and I’m wondering should I switch to a6 now or go storm 9 then a9?

Hey I'm at aransu 3 Shud I got for the skybreaker bracelet or go for king gloves first ???

I'd say starbreaker first since it gives modifiers on rmb, which helps out with downtime on Dragonfury with aransu. King's glove isnt that much of a dps boost, unless you can max it right away.

Don't play frost unfortunately :( I would guess so but their badges don't reduce Z cooldown as well (we get the - 1s on Kingfist and - 4s on Whirlwind ) so probably less effective for frost.

they have burning tundra reduce z CD by 3 sec , and 3 stacks energy each iron shoulder also, does every single hit of kingfist reduce cd or the 3 hits per 5 stacks reduces CD by 1 sec?

Just the first hit of the 3 Kingfist reduces cooldown. :)

Aransu3 is better than Storm for frost SF.
