Blade & Soul NA Outlaw Island Maksun Guide

Guide for Maksun, the second boss in Outlaw Island. Guides for the rest of the bosses to follow!
Maksun is copy pasta of Naksun
100-70%
- Counters (do not hit into it)
- Left jab followed by dash attack (stuns)
- Burn to 80% ASAP
80% Phase:
- Drinks, CC him or he will buff
- Throws projectiles, block or projectile project
- Fire breath is linear aoe and can be avoided by side stepping
- When he lays down and drinks do not attack as he'll counter and stun
60% Phase
- Drinks, CC to stop him
- He does a melee combo which leads into aerial combo if you get hit
- Spam block and iframe to avoid
40% Phase:
- Goes to centre, does room wide suction
- Suction can be iframed
- Ice aoes will drop all around the room, do not touch them as they'll root
- Does a notable combo which stuns, leading to aerial combo

when he does the counter ability i have no idea how to see it, it's almost instant and it 1 shots me

how are u this tanky? im 140k hp his pummle drive 1shot me, and as a soul fighter, should i waste my time doing this? we are the worse class at these types of things

I feel your pain... you should change shadow for this boss currently its pain to do it in stealth.

Have you fought Naksun before? His skill set is borrowed from him. I don't play Assassin though, so can't really give advice on the class.

ya naksun is piece of cake :/ but this guy is way faster with skill casting and feels to me like he has more cc, once I use all my s am done for. Thanks for the guide though, will try it on other class.

you can 1 shot naksun in 10 seconds and skip all the fight. But this guy is more durable can't whale on him

the way i beat this guy is being defensive at the begining and ccing everytime his cc bar is available. when he starts throwing his drinking bowls or whatever it is i just pop my blue buff and 4f, essentially making sure he doesn't get in his regular fighting state which he is in at the begining cause it's damn dangerous.

He's locked into the bowl tossing animation at 80%, so that's a good spot to heavily DPS him down and yeah, it's ideal to bring him down from 100 to 80% fast as his attacks are annoying and dangerous.

Eckogen I like your vids buddy but I'm not sure why you're saying he is a copy/paste of Naksun when he really doesn't do the same thing as Naksun. I can beat Naksun flawlessly without getting hit even once but this guy has been killing me. I mean I'll be flawless soon but just saying... not like Naksun edit: also his dash attack and counter are not random after the jab, it always goes in a specific rotation. dash attack first, then counter then repeats

All his moves and skills are exactly from Naksun. He may not execute them in the same order per say, but everything he does, Naksun has done.
