Blade & Soul NA Snowjade Fortress Guide

Guide for Snowjade Fortress. Asura's attacks are derived from the Frozen/Flame Asuras in VT and as well as Asura from Sogun's Lament. He does nothing special outside of his phases.
Phases at 80%/50%/20%:
- Room wide suction (cannot be iframed)
- SS away as he drops Flame/Frost aoe around his feet
- Pairs of 2 at each line (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, & 11'o clock
- A total of 2 orbs will travel down the line towards Asura
- First orb element is based on the initial AoE
- 1 person blocks, Asura fires projectiles at random people
- Next orb spawns, the other person blocks. Asura fires projectiles again
- Enrages if he absorbs 5 orbs. Stacks clear at the end of each phase
- Spawns flowers (type based on initial AoE element)
- People with the opposite colour steps on flowers
- Do NOT step on flower if you have no buff or same colour buff as flower. For example Frost Flower, do not step on if you have Frost buff
- He drops AoEs. Frost swords drop around him. Flame swords are based on random targets (cats can be targeted)
- Ends phase by absorbing any leftover flowers
- Every phase is the SAME

Does the raid normally require everyone to have 1k+ ap? I'm just trying to do the know thine enemy quest to get the raven soulshields

for fire phase he doesn't randomly choose players to drop swords on, its the tank he drops them on

It's random, but the more melees and cats under him the greater the chance of swords being dropped on melees.

sorry I can't see the flowers in your video... or are they the blue puddle things at 2:53? Seems like nobody stepped on them.

The flowers spawn near the edges of the room. Usually people don't step into them, but they should to prevent the boss from healing.

H L Raids are 12 man. At least for NA/EU.

Usually I block both the orbs, cus for what I've seen the 2nd one is the flower related. Am I wrong? Or just lucky? XD

The second orb is always the opposite to the Flower colour. You can block both, it's just preferred if each person blocks one.

Is that just like each person should pull their own weight kind of thing or is there a concrete reason due to how the mechs work where you should only block one because it helps better the fight somehow?

It's more of a each person should pull their own weight. 1 person can block both orbs with no repercussions.

Chunkkrink as des I guess It's like the BD with the spinning or with the shield. As FM I guess they have a block skill.
