Hello, I have also just received my Sugess Daytona V3 full black ceramic, and I must say that it is really fantastic. It is extremely thin on the wrist and very comfortable to wear. I love its curves which really give it that vintage side of the Daytona. I must say that Sugess has signed a very remarkable watch of very high quality with an exemplary level of finish. Its 7750 movement looks extremely precise.

I've got the black one, because of you Zee, and I've been thinking of buying the white one too! So so happy with this, it's so much nice than the PD Daytona I've got, worth the money, but the rotor noise is hilarious

I got mine in march 2022 from their Ali store and it has the "Top Chronographer" text on the dial, but is actually 12.4mm thick just like the V3...? I guess I have a V2? They never advertised the change from anywhere that I can see... Im very happy with it nevertheless, it runs incredible,

My V1 has had significant issues. It originally had issues with the keyless works after 8 months from purchase and was sent back for repair. It was shipped to the repair centre in Hong Kong and they botched it up. It was returned to me with a new crown that was missing the S logo, the bracelet was reinstalled the wrong way round so the clasp closed the opposite way. The biggest issue was the chronograph… it was fine before it was shipped for repair and somehow they managed to damage it so it was returned to me with a chronograph reset defect. Basically the main chrono hand does not reset to centre position anymore, it resets anywhere between the 12 and 2 o’clock marker…. After repeated attempts over many many many months to connect with Sugess. ( appalling after sales service ) I managed to get them to accept a return back to their head office in China for inspection. I originally just wanted my money back but they refused. So now I’m waiting for this thing to be delivered back to Sugess in China to see what they say. It’s been a drama…… I guess will need to wait and see what happens after they get it. The watch is well made from the outset but it’s just not built to last or for frequent use. Shame..

⁠. I received the watch back from Sugess. They did nothing to address the issues I listed for them. It came back without the engraved rehaut, a scratched lug and somehow they managed to mix up my bracelet ( I’m assuming they removed it from the case at some point ). The bracelet my watch came back with was missing 3 links and no longer fits my wrist. The whole drama has lasted years and Sugess have been the worst company I have ever dealt with. I will never buy another watch from them and would caution anyone against buying a Sugess watch. Their after sales service and customer help and response is non existent. Their watches are average at best and overpriced by 3 times. So I know have this watch back, damaged and worse for wear due to 3 visits to the Sugess repair centre. 1 x Sugess Hong Kong and 2 x Sugess China. I had repeatedly requested a replacement which they refused ….. Lesson learnt and a cautionary tale. Buy from Sugess at your own risk….

@jayfra100 jee what a nightmare. Thank you for the info. I guess it's the same pattern more or less with these Chinese microbrands: it's a bit of a gamble, if one gets a faulty/flowed watch it's pretty much lost time and money...

I have a blue one that is showing to be here tomorrow. I really hope it comes I’m very excited about it. It’s a great value. I have a st19 Sugess also. The one I got looks like an omage to a bretling. It looks just like it, nice watch and I can’t wait to try this Daytona homage.

On the pilot watch, what’s the reason for the bezel numbers counting down rather than up? ie 45, 30, 15.

I have the original version of this build quality is amazing chronograph works perfectly and it’s with -1 second a day. I do wish they hadn’t thinned down the new version I prefer a thicker watch.

Great review. I like the blue and brown it’s different. Maybe ill wait until V3 with the fine on the move adjustment clasp. Once the company starts making the class customers are going to expect it on the watch that they purchase you can’t go backwards, so go from a color TV to black and white TV. That’s how old I am I am still remember black-and-white TVs

Really love the Blancpain homage, especially in rose gold and blue, it's just crazy how sexy that thing is. I bought their Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Bronze Chronograph homage (long name I know) and it's really cool, great looking watch and very good quality, strap as well (at least the Horween one, the other is whatever). Very nice lume too. What annoys me is that I've always wanted the ST19 (manual movement in general actually) and I miss the automatic winding. Also the fact that it's a screw-down crown is kinda bad, since the ST19 doesn't let you overwind, it just blocks the crown so you end up not being able to screw it in. TL;DR great watches, good job Sugess with every single one of their pieces.

Anyone knows why on the AirForce the 15 and 45 markers seems inverted ? In every other watch I see the 15 marker at three, and the 45 at nine.

This Sugess Air command Homage looks like a combination of a Breguet Type XX dials, hands and indices with a flat Fifty Fathoms bezel. A surprising but nice design. The ST19 display caseback is a plus. But priced at 300€ here in France, it's not cheap.

I think it's a clone of the ETA 7753. Horizontal chronograph rather than the 7750 which is a vertical chronograph.

Well Blancpain then released a 38mm version to this. It is purely subjective and most pilot watches are large but there are plenty that are small. The practical use has gone for the most part so people just want the aesthetic

I love the Mollric of both, but the Seagull makes me nervous (although the swan’s neck is a nice feature). I would prefer a Seiko mecaQuartz for $60 less. The Daytona homage is just plain cool.

I've not had any issues with the seagulls and they are quite popular but when they go, they are completely fu**ed from what I gather. I think the seiko quartz would not have the same affect as the mechanical movement though...
