Listen..I own a more than 500 knives collection and I can tell you that after carrying my blue Banter for some time I can assure you this is the best and most perfect EDC knife I’ve used since I started collecting knives. Here is why....ergonomics are just perfect...after deploying the blade you instantly feel the knife as part of your hand...this curvy design and the way the knife disappears inside of your hand while having your thumb exactly in the right place to grab the entire knife is amazing. Deployment is just perfect as the exact pressure and distance between your thumb and the thumb stud makes the blade fly open instantly. Blade design is the right one for a less than 3 inch length knife making it the perfect apple slicer and the perfect cardboard box opener. The somewhat wide and thick scales give the knife not only the right weight for it size, but also provides great slicing control when comparing it to the performance of the Benchmade Bugout which has this “unstable” and flimsy feeling in the hand. Deep pocket clip snaps too tight out of the box but once you manage to adjust it to the right pressure it glides nicely inside the small pocket on the right side of your jeans. Yes, at first glance it looks a little bit toyish and harmless but that is precisely the beauty of this knife; it is the perfect urban edc that you can take anywhere, place it even on a table after slicing vegetables or a pizza and no one will feel intimidated by it. I’m planning to always take this knife with me along with other beautiful “not so edc” knives in my collection.
