Gotta say I just got back into rollerblading with my Macroblade 80’s and I love seeing videos like this!! Love watching people carving of different cities around the world. Also, respect on the skill I haven’t skated in over 20yrs and I’ve fell a couple times so I miss my balance. It’s it like riding a bike… Use it or lose it

@@coates27 I haven’t skated in over 20yrs and I just got Macroblade 80’s ABT figured they’d be really slow for the price. But, man these skates are way faster than what we had growing up. I just realized how much anxiety I would have skating in between people and cars. In my head, all I could think is, "Excuse me, sorry, coming through, I can wait... Pardon me, oops my bad..."
@mychemicalromancewillpierc52415 жыл бұрын
When you’ve been there for a while, it eventually just boils down to, at least for me, either apologize for every single person you bump into or have to push past or just move on with your day. You’re gonna be sitting there for hours if you waste your time doing that. Also, just avoid the cars when you can. They’re not gonna care if you slide in between em. Sometimes you just have to to keep moving. 🤷♂️

Great video. If you did a live q & a stream or just a Q & A vid, topic would be advice about street skating, separate from Empire's group style. Navigating high traffic and pedestrians, defensive skating ,(as in driving. Plus, yours or others' scary moments, what not to do, etc Would be great info for big city dwellers (I'm from the Bronx) . Not enough on the navigation and anticipatory aspects, on KZbin, for those just wanting to get off the path. Just a thought. :)
