My favorite Death Cab for Cutie memory came from when I worked for Sam Goody. I was working a midnight release featuring The Passion of the Christ and an Insane Clown Posse double album. Needless to say, we had a very diverse group of customers that night. I had Transatlanticism playing on the store radio and I thankfully was manning the register selling the Passion. One of the guys who was buying the DVD asked about the album and I was able to grab a copy for him off the shelf and he bought that as well. I think of that guy often, I hope he really enjoyed his Death Cab album
