1:42:58 aired the day I was born 12/7/82. We lived in East Keansburg in the WABC 7 area during the day and the nighttime show from Viacom aired on WNBC Ch 4 at 7:30. Thank you for posting.

I like to look up these people sometimes and I'm sad to say both Phils are no longer with us. And Mary Jo's obituary mentions their run on the Family Feud!

Phil Sr just passed recently. By the looks of it Phil Jr has been gone for a long time.

I sure hope they had that one family back when the Blairs won the round for saying “stove” 1:16:22 and the judges thought it was the same as microwave oven. That was really unfair.
@girliboi Жыл бұрын
yea, that was a stretch.. . i've seen them be sticklers on answers that matched much more closely to the survey.. . i know they would occasionally have families back (on other goodson/todman shows also), so i wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the times they did.

I saw Phil Jr passed away in Sep 1994. Any family or friends know how he died? RIP Phil, Phil Jr, and Mary Jo.

On the “Willie the Pooh” episode. The irony is the guy Chadi gave that stupid answer then for the win he yelled “Indian food” to Chuck as the answer and was ignored. That was the correct answer.

I couldn’t be in the audience for that show. I’d be screaming answers at contestants and throwing stuff after dumb answers. It’s a pity that the show became so dirty minded. It’s like watching adult tv now. I think there should be a G version of this show where the questions aren’t sexual in nature. Nowadays I can’t enjoy it.

i guess it depends on taste? our humor system that we are given at birth is pretty complex so it's hard to understand why people like "blank" more than "blank" in a humor sense.

Ah, the infamous "Willie the Pooh" episode came up on The World's Funniest back in the day. BTW, these episodes aired from November 22-30, 1982 but the episodes' codes are 82-205 to 82-210. The Saints vs. Sinners episodes are marked as 82-211 to 82-215 for those who are keeping score of the codes.

That includes a currently unknown preemption on November 26, which was the day after Thanksgiving.
@Nickle9849910 ай бұрын
@@feudfan55 I was not around in 1982(I was born in 1984), but from what I remember of daytime TV when I was growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s, typically whatever was on the networks in the daytime on the day after Thanksgiving was pre-empted by College Football, so I'm guessing that's why ABC did not air Family Feud the day after Thanksgiving that year... Another possibility would be ABC possibly aired special episodes of Saturday Morning cartoons on that day, as the networks typically did that back then on the day after Thanksgiving(I actually remember Fox doing that in the 1990s after they started their kids' programming).

Did Mike get to go out with Karen Siederman the show assistant? It was kind of creepy of Richard to push a 15 year old kid to ask out a woman clearly in her 20s.

People tried to get 20-somethings to date me when I was a teenager a few times. Those people did not, and one of them chose Donals Trump over me(it was Atlantic City in the late 80s when Donald and Ivana were divorcing, and he owned a few casinos in AC until a few years ago, and Donals liked 20-something cocktail servers) My welfare would have been harder to endanger than that kids' here would have been probably.
