Your family was one of the most entertaining I’ve seen on the Feud. I did particularly enjoy when Richard chastised those two young men: a) the comb in back pocket, and b) the pants cinched at the ankle.

@@davidadams2395 no hell no !!!Steve even said once on the show during a celebrity game ,and there were several beautiful women on both sides that he would be devorced for a fourth time if he were to kisss the contestants 😉 but I bet he wished he had continued that weird tradition on that particular day . Yes creepy especially when it came to the young girls, I would have thought ok a kisson the cheeek or forehead or even the hand . Did you see the episode of when Richard's family was on the show., He made a point to show us, the viewer's that he even kissed his son's and daughter's on the lips. And he said it was an English thing...well they don't do that in England so I just think it was a way to get his kicks. After all gene would kiss all of the new female stars on match game,and Richard just wanted to be gene.😬

Never mind on my part, July 4, 1984 was the first appearance for the Groom family because of the voice over, now we know the air dates for the first 3 episodes of this family: July 4-6, 1984 and GSN did air all the appearances of the Groom family. I believe that sometime after the July 16-20, 1984 week of episodes with the Summer Olympians vs. Winter Olympians, the daytime version went to $400 to win and raise the winnings cap to $30,000, now when you were on was the winnings cap already raised?

From the way we're looking at it, the episodes that you were on were 84-115 to 84-120(last episode before the start of the 9th year on ABC) and you were defeated on your 6th appearance as you lost your 6th episode to Sekingahama I do believe.

Dawson didn't kiss contestants in 1994-95 when he returned to host the show, saying because he was married at that point(he got married around 1990 to Gretchen Johnson, who won on Feud in 1981 with her family), and had a new daughter, Shannon Nicole, who was about 4 when he returned to host the Feud

The women wanted to be kissed. There was a question on the contestant application asking if they wanted to be kissed by him and by the looks of it not many said no. It's not like he was putting his tongue down their throat....it was a harmless peck.
