I love that idea. I am an immigrant and my family is far away in other countries. I was on bedrest for months, to save my baby girl, after my cervix opened way too early and we needed emergency surgery ( yes, they stitched me up, so I stay closed, was awful and painful) and my husband had to do everything, helping me with washing and bathroom etc.m while working full time. Then we had a late preterm baby, super small and I needed to pump milk for her every two hours, to give to her. After a month she was able to nurse directly but still every two hours. It’s work. She’s eleven months old now, we still breastfeed for the immunity benefits, since as a preemie, she really is a bit more fragile. I am super lucky to have an older daughter that can sometimes help me get five minutes, to shower. Btw., my cervix is weak because I was on hormone blockers as a teenager after assault and experiencing trauma and hating my female body. My cervix never developed properly because of that although I was told it’s reversible if I take blockers. I buried my son, born at 21 weeks because of this condition but gladly we saved our daughters. I wish this on nobody. Seeing how much help there is for some people, it’s outrageous. When my baby is older, I’ll remember to offer help to other fresh moms, thank you for reminding me of that.

@emilynewman3853 I get it completely. I managed to breastfeed both of my sons for at least 6 weeks and then was forced to put them on a bottle. Both of my babies were nearly 9 lbs and I couldn't keep up with the milk production. I would walk through a grocery store and hear some OTHER woman's baby cry and instantly turn into a fembot with a 50-yard range. I would nurse for 30 minutes on each breast, and they would be hungry again an hour later. My nipples cracked, bled, and split open. I don't think these men understand pregnancy, childbirth, and nursing. I consider it a profound biological right as a woman and a mother, but it's not all baby showers, lavish attention, and cute tiny things. Women don't tend to talk much about the downside of all of this because once the baby has arrived, we naturally forget about most of it. The end result is that these men don't think there IS a downside. If I couldn't eat peanut butter while nursing because it gave my son terrible gas, you can't take 14 pills a day to force lactation and feed that to a baby. They call it "gatekeeping". It's not that. It's that we understand they don't know what the hell they're talking about because we've been through it and we can tell by the stupid things they say that they are both ignorant, and crazy. Of COURSE we can't take them seriously, and absolutely never will.

I'm an adoptive mom and was able to breast feed the baby we adopted. I was never pregnant. I did work with my doctor about if it was safe for me to induce lactation for our baby. About a week of breastfeeding (I supplemented with formula to ensure the baby was getting proper nutrition) my supply increased to be able to go off formula.

@@marandazilk3175 this again…I’m a female and if I begin to lactate now without any medication and I’m not pregnant It is called Galactorrhea and is a symptom of underlying conditions In males, the most common condition that causes lactation is an anterior pituitary tumor, other times nutrient deficiency, other times it’s also gynocomatsia which is a side effect of an endocrine issue. If a man is lactating he needs to see a doctor just like I, a biological female , would also need to see a doctor because I’m not pregnant or nursing any infant. I have 0 children. It can also be a pituitary tumor in my case as well. People thibk of lactation and think it means the same as breast milk. Breast milk that’s given to babies is a special chemical that takes time to form all components over the course of a woman’s pregnancy, there are actually more than just prolactin, oxytocin that causes it, the placenta produces another hormone that actually completes the full development of female breast tissue and causes a woman to develop specialize milk lobules that produce the actual milk babies nurse. Hence why the composition of a woman’s milk is affected by when she gives birth. Pre term babies mom’s milk is different from full term baby mom’s milk, hence importance for donation. What you’re doing is, reducing yet another complex process in the female body down to “hormones” men have rudimentary mammary glands, no ducts or lobules.

I was put on risperdal during my pregnancy as an antipsychotic so I wouldn’t go manic. It almost caused a VSD in my daughter, made her more irritable, caused a pituitary tumor in me that stopped my period for four years afterward where I produced milk because I had a prolactinoma which could have blocked my optic nerve and caused permanent blindness. My uterine lining didn’t shed for four years which could have led to uterine cancer. So many problems as a result of taking that drug. I was told I could not breast feed my child because the medicine would be in the breast milk and could harm my baby. I don’t know how any doctor in their right mind could prescribe medicine to a man wanting to lactate to feed children when it’s not even safe or recommended for a woman to do the same thing while on that drug. This world is insane and Blaire is right, we are in hell!!! It’s crazy that there were lawsuits that men could file because risperdal caused gynocomastia (female breasts) in men and boys but the amount of damage it did to me and the horrible side effects affecting women was never mentioned in these lawsuits. It’s bullshit.

I had my two premature and with my first solely pumped and when you solely pump you don’t have the same chemical reactions that help you produce more milk like you do when you’re able to breast feed your baby. So medications like reglan which yes is mainly used for reflux as well as fenugreek (reglan is often the first line option because it is safe for premature babies and often they are already on the medication for reflux which is very common in premature infants) are used to help milk production. They don’t work for every woman because you are also dealing with so much stress and exhaustion when you have a baby in NICU that alone affects milk production. So often even all the things you try can’t help you keep your production up. It’s a lot having a baby in NICU. That affects your ability to produce milk.

There are practical reasons for the 3 times a day eating schedule. The main one is that people who work together often need to be on the same schedule so that they're available to each other at the same time. Another is so that families can eat dinner together and connect over a meal. My husband and I used to rent a room in our house to a man from Liberia. He told me that when he was growing up, his family didn't have three meals a day. It was one meal a day, and sometimes they went a whole day with nothing. Completely agree. Other people have their own lives and shit going on. Being trans doesn't mean you deserve other people time just because. I'm a sahm of 2 kids one autistic one with behavioral problems and my ADHD makes it harder at times but I haven't made a video demanding people baby me. People are rediculous. Btw I think it's your an amazing person for all that you have going on and are still taking on more by adopting your nephew. We need more people like you and less like the people in these videos

An ugly personality will eventually manifest itself onto a persons physical appearance. So I've been diagnosed with a neurological disorder that will burst and fatally bleed into my brain. My family turned their backs on me for been lesbian. I also have endometriosis so i cant have the kids i dreamed off and i lost the love of my life. The scariest part is that some nut case mother will probably take em up on the trans milk. All those medicines coming thru the milk . That doctor needs to be looked into because I breastfeed all 4 of my children and was told i couldn't take many medications. I was even warned about drinking my coffee before nursing.

Plenty of biological women can't "make an egg." Although if you want to actually be accurate, women are born with all of the eggs they can ever release already inside their bodies. We don't make them, we release them from one of two sacs of eggs called ovaries. But as I said already, plenty of women can't or don't release eggs, either because of a reproductive disorder or even because they take birth control, which stops ovulation, which is the name for releasing an egg from an ovary. Older women who've experienced menopause can also no longer release eggs. They're all still women though, and they don't just stop being women when they stop ovulating. So your definition is way off.
