Hadn’t ridden mtb since I was 20, now I’m 37, and teaching my 4yr/old to ride + watching Blake, Martin, Doddy, Neil and the rest of GMBN squad has gotten me back in the saddle, riding 4 days a week on local trails and packing our backyard full of trails and features. You’re right Blake, KZbin is a great inspiration. Thanks boys!

I swear Blake could be a carpenter. he is that good 👌💯
@carlstanton25504 жыл бұрын
He'd be more suited to the joinery side of carpentry work, I don't think shuttering and framing roofs would be his thing, but definitely joinery! I think the fact he's a perfectionist helps alot too, but I agree with you, he's pretty good.

great build blake! as a carpenter though, seeing you chisel towards your hand was terrifying!! one slip and you could have a really nasty cut- I'd recommend a bench vise (can be had cheap second-hand, look on facebook marketplace or ebay) or even just a couple of clamps to hold things down (can get them dirt cheap from any diy/tool seller) on a similar note, definitely wear a dust mask when working with power tools or sanding in a small unventilated shop like that! wood dust plays havoc with your lungs over time, and a proper mask can (literally) be a lifesaver. toolstation's disposable ones are a bit janky but fine for casual work- I'd recommend getting one rated at FFP2 or above. stay safe and happy building!

Balance bikes are amazing, used them for both my kids. My 2nd kid was riding a pedal bike at 2yo. Now at 3 going off mini ramps, down mini trails. Unfortunately had a fall on a flat path due to he wind, didnt expect it and broke his arm. He can't wait to get back on it. Endless talent by Blake, never ceases to amaze me, amazing work.

OMG best idea ever! To clean up the sawdust, you could have a long tube coming off of a vacuum cleaner and put the tube in the floor board things under the shelves. Drill so large holes in the tube and then when you need to, just scrape the sawdust off the work top, hit the button, and it sucks it all up! You should give it a go!
