First thing i'd recommend (and did myself) is cleaning the entire place and painting it bright white! Makes the most out of the poorest lighting and working so much more enjoyable.

If you connect them to two flat boards combined with a piano hinge, then you can easily push them closer to the wall. Takes up a bit more wall space, but doesn’t stick out as far into the garage. Great video! Very enjoyable.

Nice setup Blake. Very inspiring. I might suggest one small tweak to your bike racks. Offset the middle one by a few inches up or down to prevent handlebar overlap. Rock on!

Great project! I'm doing something similar, and if one has the ceiling height to work, and short on total width, stagger the front wheel brackets vertically so the handlebars of each bike don't interfere with each other.

Hey Blake top tip... Rotate the wheel bracket things 15-20 degrees. Makes the handle bars angle away from each other. Easier to take the bikes on and off the wall without cables/bars tangling. Bonus... You'll have more room between the wheels and rafters

Perfect timing on this video!! Just in the process of planning my own bike cave / work place in a very small storage area of about 2x2 meters. Also needs to be our general storage area and fit a big stroller... Pretty sure I'll use ever square inch of wall space and probably the ceiling too 🤔

Absolutely more! Do the work station, yeah. I've already built my mini kicker, had to build 3 because that 18" was toooo high. So I built a 6" than a 12" and soon I hope, I will actually jump the 18". So far loving the 12"! Also just finished my manual trainer, but haven't tried it yet. Baby Steps! Done a great job there Blake, wish I had the room to do similar in my garage but it's just so full with bike stuff, tools, pillar drill, hydraulic press, bench grinders, welder, lubes, enough nuts, bolts, screws brackets etc to stock a hardware store and that's not to mention the bikes and a motorbike. I've got pretty much everything to tackle most jobs but have to move stuff out to the garden to be able to use it as a workshop, I kinda went a bit overboard knitting it out !
