100% agreed ! especially at the growing rates of human trafficking and child abuse being a severe worldwide epidemic. there is no other way of getting this under control. if that's the only way we can best protect children and infants, the majority of the victims being girls, then we need more severe punishments. it's so unacceptable that people end up in jail for life or years for drug crimes but pedophiles walk free or are never convicted way too often. child services don't do enough, have not enough money and resources from the governments.
@victoriapalferez-siri59524 жыл бұрын
@@user-zv9no2my6j many in children protective services, authority figures are part of it, foster parents, teachers, doctors, you name it, taking kids from an abusive environments and place them in worst places is horrible, we can't trust no one with our children and keep close eye in their teens of who they mingle with. That is why many people homeschool.
@user-zv9no2my6j4 жыл бұрын
@@victoriapalferez-siri5952 it depends. often the parents, caretakers, relatives, homeschool teachers, siblings are the abusers and traffick their own children. in 90% of the cases, the attacked child knows the abuser very well and is abused in their "home". and if such children never get to see a school or any other social contacts, that can be the childrens detriment. which it was and harmed them severely in some cases of "homeschooled" children - the parents homeschooled so they could cover up their torture and crimes more easy. when at "home" means chaos and abuse, public school can mean getting help, getting to know classmates and their families and noticing how different other non-toxic families are. an extremely high amount of CSA is incest and the mother looking away and covering up for and defending the abuser like stepfather, partner boyfriend and enabling it. child services are ofcourse mainlyunderstaffed, have not enough resources, education, are overwhelmed, incompetent or criminals themself. this has to be improved, governments, politicians need to spend more money to protect girls and women, prevention, education, therapy for the victims - not only for the criminals -, instead on weapons and all the political corruption - elegantly called lobbyism. it's everywhere, a severe epidemic.

@@user-zv9no2my6j Okay, I will tell you what I have witnessed that abusers abuse no matter what. Homeschool or not, yes with homeschool they can get away with but no every homeschool parent is an abuser, child pornographer, cult member or in any immoral or disgusting thing. That is what the media says to expose some cases, but what about all other abuses that are happening at work, wife-husband, government figures and even in public arena. An abuser sits next to you in public and puts his hands under your skirt while everyone is distracted and touches you whispers in your ear some terrible thing that will happen if you react, an abuser can be in a vacation place or even your pastor. Abusers go to extreme measures to abuse and if they could go invisible will do it to get away with it because is an obsession, a compulsory behavior from something that happened to them in the past. No one is safe around this type and as long as people purchase this type of material the savages in business with no shame will provide material and opportunity for this predators, no even in hotel rooms you can undressed safely because like in James Bond they place tiny cameras to record you naked or having intimacy without your knowledge to sell this as porn, if it was to catch bad guys and prostitutes but no is to sell material as porn, one have to do the right actions and protect our children.

Ofc it will not happen, the moment someone even mentions exploring a cure to being gay or something like that everyone freaks out being offended by it, society has put a stop to science that's why i doubt we will ever explore the mind that way and we should, so many people could be helped if we did it, i agree with "talking about shit then doing nothing and people applauding" if instead they got all their millions, hired a team of amazing neuro, chemistry, biology, etc.. scientists got them into a fully equipped lab and just let them explore and find a possible cure for all of that, but politics and looking good on twitter is more important.

More men may suffer from the mental disease known as pedophilia, but more women act on these impulses because they are allowed to get away with it. It's not even considered rape in court. @@jessicanicole3747 No. The difference is that you only care (to notice) when it's a young girl with an older man. People don't give a shit if it's the other way around. Again, I know several guys personally who had sex with adult women 3 times their age or more (at the time). These guys simply don't consider themselves victims of anything. I have never known any girl to have had sex with adult men. It almost never happens, and when it does, it's shamed and the men are hunted down. You literally only say it's "mostly men", because that is the narrative you choose to believe, not because you ACTUALLY know (because you don't), but either because you can't stand the idea of women being abusers or you're just oblivious to child abuse being done mostly by women. Something tells me it's the former.
@silverco25604 жыл бұрын
MG who the hell cares if it’s a man or a woman? If a woman does anything to an infant, I guarantee you nobody’s going to protect her, ALL pedophiles should be detained, but also don’t pretend a teacher having relations with a 15 year old is as bad as the things Blake mentioned in the video. I have a feeling you are one of those people who try to make every discussion about gender bias, and although it’s a relevant topic, you’re really pushing here by saying most sexual abusers are women and using the fact that you know a lot of guys who had sex with teachers as evidence to your absurd claim. Just google some actual statistics instead of trying to make a case out of something you made up yourself.

Even though I blocked it out, I have certain days where I stay in my room and cry and throw up and scratch my skin till raw because I still feel their hands on me, its so hard trying to continue with this trauma that I was left with. I can’t even look back at pictures of my 13th birthday, wear that grey shirt or those shorts, I can’t hug anyone without remembering what they did to me, I can’t say “I love you” to even my own mom because that’s what my abuser would force me to say after every time they did it, I cant sleep without locking the door, I can’t live a normal teenage life because they stripped so much from me. I felt so alone and indifferent and unnoticed through this all, I felt like I was clawing for help and no one saw me so I can’t express my gratitude and love I have for Blake Lively on speaking on this.

Project AcuHope your exactly right. This happened to me when I was 14. I did not know my neighbor was into young girls preferably 12-13 and I had a crush on him he looked 22 very young. Anyways I got his number one day and we fell in love. We had sex and it was consensual at the time. My parents later found out and hired a detective and he was arrested. He will always be a big part of my life. That was a big part of my childhood and most of us know that childhood experiences shape human beings. I was still in love with him and even though my parents put a restraining order on him I still saw him. Slowly but surely, he tried to make me turn against my family. I will forever have flashbacks of my mom and my whole family trying to contact me or know where I was or who I was with and very concerned but my mom especially. He eventually got me hooked on oxycodone and then eventually it turned into heroin. I was a heroin addict and moved out the house by the tender age of 17. I was so in love with him that when he asked me to write a letter to the judge saying how i loved him and were going to get married and to not get in trouble, i actually did it. He got 5 years probation 10 years suspended. He is now a registered sex offender and has violated his probation and is now in jail. I just turned 20 in December. Looking back, I wish he was never my neighbor. My life would be so different. I would have had a car for a couple years now instead of just getting my first car a month ago! I would have just been finishing up my junior year of college. I would actually have friends. I have no friends. I wasted the last four to five years of my life with this grown man. Your teens are supposed to be the best part of your life, no bills, hardly any responsibilities. I wanted to give him a chance, I was so in love with him, I waited for him to get a job and was going to until he did but he never did. I feel as if my soul had been taken away from me. Like the life has been sucked out of me. And the worst part is I grew up in a really nice town with a close family and had the perfect foundation and tools and opportunities for success. Everyday I think about it. I will never forget it. I will always regret talking to him and he will probably always regret talking to me. It has been exactly one year since I moved back in with my family. I never thought anything like this would ever happen to me and I did not know about anything like that before it happened. I had just gone through puberty and he had just found the perfect time for him to snatch me. It was fun in the beginning at the time, but, looking back now, I don't think I will ever recover from this.

I know this is a weird place to put this, but to any teachers, parents, social workers... listen to kids. My father was sent to jail for creating and distributing child pornography. Soon after the abuse from my mother was unbearable and I ended up homeless, still going to school every day. I have CPTSD and I am sitting here thinking back why no one would listen to me. Why when I tried to be a good person teachers attributed it to my parents "raising me well." Or how adults would encourage me to mend fences with my parents because "I would get it some day." Or how I was shamed and assumed a delinquent when I asked for another assignment because I couldn't not interview a parent. These things cause a lot of scars. I made a reddit post awhile ago about how we all need to be responsible for helping children and being more honest about the world. I was reamed apart for it. Saying that it is the parent's job. And no, "some kids dont have parents" meant nothing. It has got me feeling like no one really cares about children and it shatters my heart because I know this goes on every day to more children and people just overlook it. Please put in an effort to care about others.
