Other than the old movie clips, this was filmed on his ranch in Oklahoma. There are so many different types of country music these days. Blake has a fun tune from early in his career called 'Ol' Red' & it is a fun story type song & he has a hella mullet in it. Now he just released another song, also a fun one, called 'No Body'.(two words). In the video as soon as you walk in the bar, your short hair becomes a mullet. Pretty funny. He has a fun song called 'Boys round here' you might enjoy as well. Some newer guys on the scene are Morgan Wallen & Luke Combs, however there is a guy named Hardy that wrote this song for Blake & is now performing his own stuff & he is amazing. Totally different vibe. In fact, check out his song 'Wait in the truck' for a shocking, thought proving, powerful song/video. Country can make you laugh or cry or maybe dance or stand up & salute. We got it all.

I know this is a year old video and you may not even see my comment but, I'm not a huge country fan either. All my life (I'm 65 now) I've been a rock guy and a funk guy and a jazz fusion guy. But I have to admit, there's some damn good story telling in some country songs. There's a handful of them that I think are great songs. Now, I might have to be in the mood for it, but shit, I'm like that with most things when I think about it. When I am in the mood for it, there's some country songs that really hit. I think this is one of them, although you could also say this is a very rocky sounding country song.

I enjoy this song. There is a group you'd likely enjoy, called Home Free. They cover a number of songs (such as Blake's Hillbilly Bone and Ed Sheeran's City on a Hill). They collaborate with Kenny Rogers (Children Go Where I Send Thee), Lee Greenwood (an EPIC version of "God Bless the USA, with the USAIR Force Band), Don McLean (American Pie) and the Oak Ridge Boys (Elvira). They have some really fun medleys, like their Country-Fried Pop Medley and the Butts Remix. And some great originals such as "Land of the Free." Also, their fan base, known as the Home Fries, are very enthusiastic about reactions and often swell the number of subscribers.

Its funny you said why am i not a country fan where you like the horses thing and westerns and all. Well as a barrel racer and big in the rodeo scene its funny that most country people are not country music fans as much as being big Rock music fans. I live in middle TN. Champion barrel racer. Raised on a ranch and myself along with my family and friends are more rock music fans than country.
