Wow tha pedal steel guitar on this is just phenomenal! Granted I don't listen to much country but I've never heard anything as great as this. It sneaks in under the radar, basically playing a "pad" part, kind of filling the role ordinarily done with strings. From there it steadily builds in intensity and excitement. At first it just adds a few subtle fills, then during verse 2 it starts with some awesome tasty fills, then at the end it really steps it up with a loud front and center volume, some talking effects, call and respsonse, screaming high notes and downward swoops and some funky syncopation. That guy has some serious talent and it's all so smooth you don't even notice it.

I used to love this song when it came out. I had never seen the video until now, and his facial expressions are absolutely hilarious! I also noticed in this video, all the city slickers are holding coffee cups with a black lid, white cup, and that starbucks brown thing around it, funny! The mustang driver loses his before giving the finger, the girl with the short blonde hair in the bar is holding one, the Mercedes Benz driver throws his, the little girl at the dentists office takes a drink after Blake says something to her.
