Dimash handles virtually every genre of music brilliantly----even metal screams at times! You will certainly discover that fact if you choose to react much further than this fairly limited demonstration of his vocal ability. And yes, he is a "big deal." Dimash sells out arenas and stadiums all over the world for his 3.5 hour shows which routinely attract fans from 60-80 countries no matter where they are taking place and how challenging they are to get to. His May 24 concert in Istanbul is taking place in a stadium that has a capacity of 43,000. He has previously performed concerts at major facilities in New York, London, Moscow, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Czech Republic, Dubai, Belarus, Latvia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Malaysia, all over China and all over his home country of Kazakhstan.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan, as been training for 25 years, starting music school at age 5. He is university trained, with a Masters Degree in composition, will finish his PhD in musicology soon, has his own production Company (independent) and sells out stadiums world wide (including Barclay's in NYC in 2019). He was offered positions at several opera companies but chose his own path as a neo-classical artist. The Charismatic Voice and many vocal coaches have reacted to Dimash.

Dimash is absolutely phenominal! I am 74 yrs and have never heard anyone like him. I found him in 2019 here on youtube. He was suggested as the best singer in the world. I thought yeah, sure. I listened, and jumped head first down the Dimash rabbit hole...not looking for a way out! He touches my soul. I am a proud Dear, which is what he calls his fans.

First, you said his name correctly the second time- Dee Mahsh, NOT like mashed potatoes. Dimash has been training since he was 5 years old( he will turn 30 on May 24th), has sung in 15 languages, speaks Russian, Kazakh(he is from Kazakhstan and VERY proud of his country) English and is learning Mandarin. This song catapulted him into stardom overnight when he was 22 in a talent show called The Singer for professional singers in China. He is a composer, plays 7 instruments, sings in more than 12 languages, and his range is the whole piano and more. And in every octave he sounds perfect. Dimash is unique. That's exactly what I said when I discovered Dimash: WOW!!! On May 4, 2024 I witnessed Dimash's concert in Budapest... me and 11000 other people from 77 countries... IT WAS PHENOMENAL... There are no words to explain the feeling you get when you hear him THE VOICE... this man is an angel on earth!!! The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. The Charismatic Voice thinks Dimash is THE greatest vocalist of ALL time! Dimash has a fantastic low (baritone) voice, he can basically sing 7.7 octaves. All beautiful in every register. Not self taught, he’s been at music school since the age of 5. Even currently he has 3 hours vocal training/lessons every day. DIMASH knows no genre categories, he is capable of doing Opera, rap, rock, Jazz, pop R&B anything he chooses and often does so. Prepare for a great adventure for if you continue reacting to DIMASH you will be saying "How does he do that?" quite often. Fellow metalhead here. I first heard Dimash sing this song a little over a year ago, and have been hooked ever since. This song is in French, and yes, he is classically trained. I highly recommend checking out "Across Endless Dimensions" (the version w/ the whale), "Kieli Meken", Olimpico" (aka Ogni Pietra), "Sinful Passion", "Durdaraz", "Stranger", "When I've Got You", and "The Story of One Sky" if you want to hear his metal scream at the end. 😉

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash from a loyal "Dear" (fandom name given to us by Dimash, because we are dear to him like his family). He has fan clubs in 132 countries. I know this sounds hyperbolic, but it’s all very true.

Now you have to research him to appreciate what he can do. He is the best singer on the planet. He sings this song from a French musical (rock opera) called Starmania. It's all in French but you can see this song toward the end of the musical. This musical was done in 1978. I love Dimash made it his signature song. He does a lot of performances of it. This one was a digital performance done during the pandemic. You might enjoy The Singer competition in 2017 where Dimash was the only performer invited to participate in the Chinese competition. Dimash began studying at the age of 5. He will be 30 this month. That's 25 years of doing what he loves. His parents both are professional singers. His mother is the opera singer. He was invited to join the opera in Kazakstan (his home country) but he declined because it was too limiting. He has had many concerts recorded to watch and see his talent grow. His fans love him and he is fed by them. He lives to perform and we love him so much. He calls us DEARS because we are dear to him.

Elizabeth Zharoff used to react a lot to Dimash. The digital copyright management company, Yoola, gave her a copyright block on one of his videos. Her husband, a lawyer, disputed with Yoola for almost a year, complicated by the company being Russia-based with no native English speakers. Finally the channel was able to get the block removed. Elizabeth reacted to one more Dimash video two years ago, and then she was done. But she recently had Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) on her channel as a guest interview. When the subject of the greatest living vocalist came up, they both agreed that it was Dimash.

This song, SOS is from a French rock opera called Starmania, that Dimash has used as a signature song from at least as far back as when he was 18. He is 30 in a few days. Kazakhstan on the Great Steppe is his homeland and very ethnic culture. He has not been corrupted by Hollywood, and so has genuine talent and abilities that are all real.

You are pronouncing his name perfectly. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, sings in 14+ languages (this one is French) though he only speaks 3 - Kazakh, Russian & is getting good in English too. He was classically trained & was offered a place in the Astana Opera House, but he had also taken up studies in contemporary & jazz music too & had decided to pursue a career in neo classic/crossover style, which he does to perfection. Dee MOSH. Elizabeth has done many Dimash reactions. She loves him and has nothing but positive things to say about him. He is from Kazakstan and has an extensive music education since age 5. (He'll be 30 on May 24th.) He's 6'3" and extremely charismatic. His concerts are around 3 hrs long and seem to be life changing according to his "Dears" (his affectionate name for his fans). Both parents are singers and his family home around the dinner table is filled with music, including singing and instrument playing. In addition to all this, he is a warm, caring, humble and peace-promoting person. His fans in the millions from around the world are crazy about him, and they range from babies (who are mesmerized by his voice) to oldsters, like me! He sings everything, pretty much all genres (although I haven't heard him do country so far!). Yes, he's classically trained. He sings R&B, pop, jazz, ethnic traditional, operatic, love ballads and rap and he frequently mixes different genres and different styles in the one song. His octave range is extensive (7.7 octaves) but as he says in interviews it doesn't matter what octaves he sings as long as the audience enjoy his performance - that's all that matters to him. If you listen to a lot of his songs you will never ever get bored. Every song is completely different. Sometimes artists sing the same kind of songs - you hear one and it's a hit, then another comes out and another, and you recognise their style every time. Their albums sort of get boring after a while. Dimash doesn't do that. Every time he opens his mouth for a performance it's a surprise. He is endlessly, superlatively creative, and not only that a lot of what he sings about has deep lyrics. He doesn't just sing, he becomes the song, he is the song, he radiates the music. The guy is special, there's no doubt about that. I recommend you listen to Stranger, Olympico, El Amor En Ti, Ikanaide, Ave Maria (vocalise). Turn on English subtitles or find a version with them on screen. You need to read and connect to the lyrics, except Ave Maria which doesn't have any - for that one I suggest not pausing at all. Just make yourself listen to the whole thing from beginning to end. Then take a few minutes out before commenting (if you can comment - some people can't). Prepare yourself for an incredible journey. Hello. I've been following Dimash for the last 4+ years. Most people ask "how", but the better question is "who" as it answers the previous question. Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, 7.7 octaves, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year (2023). Try listening to Dimash's song "Unforgettable Day" he hits a note that's OFF the scale a G8!!!! Apparently he REFUSES to sign with a Label because he wants artistic control. RIGHTFULLY so. If he did he wouldn't keep it.

He is down to earth and sees himself as just a regular guy. He goes home and plays football with the neighborhood kids and such, lol. This Digital Show was made for his fans during the pandemic lockdowns. He missed performing. Just pick a genre and he can do it. (Ok, maybe not country) Opera, rock, rap, r&b, pop, folk...he mixes them together to make his own genre.😄 I've heard him in Kazakh, Russian, French, English, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Turkish, Armenian, Japanese and Ukrainian. There are more but those are just the ones I've heard personally. His range is C2 to D8. (That we publically know of) He won't talk about his range, it's just a tool for him to express himself. Music is his life. His family is also musical. There is an instrument called a "Dombra" that is the national musical instrument of Kazakhs. They even have a Dombra Day. So in a way, most Kazakhs have music in their lives. ☺

Dimash is a young man that has been training his voice from age 5 years old, still trains vocally 3 hours a day. He mixes genera’s in his songs from Opera to rap. He has hit notes that are not on an 88 key board. After the famous writer,producer Igor Krutoy saw Dimash he came out of retirement to work with Dimash. When you see Igor Krutoy playing the piano you know he had written the music for Dimash for his talents & abilities.
