Everything is coming along and looking good but at least once a month throw out a hand full of grass seeds especially during rainy season to always have extra thick grass always for grazing tortoises 🐢

Everything is going so well! I don’t think I had seen the blacks before they are beautiful. Ponds are a great idea. I love to watch them enjoying the water. I can’t believe the ladies are laying eggs already. The radiated are just gorgeous, they are one of my favorites. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful job, Blake. It looks so nice. Hopefully the grass cooperates and keeps growing. I like the idea of the concrete ponds that they can get in and out of when they want.

Wow, I’m pretty sure those are the best looking Radiated & Star Tortoises that I’ve ever seen on any of the KZbin channels that I’m subscribed to. Every, single, one of them.

Tortoise area looks great.. thats cool that once you do the back fence, you can have another big row of enclosures and still have a tonne of room down the middle. It really looks great !!

One of your lights has the cord down in the area where they can get tangled in it and possibly pull the light down. I know some lights will not burn but there are some that will burn the hell out of you , I am sure you are gonna take care of it I just wanted to mention it! Great job

Yes do a little pond for them just make sure there is way for it to drain by a certain height so they don't drown if it rains alot. Not telling you what to do it just was a idea😊

It is so Fun to see your sweet doggies walking around in the background behind the new turtle area. what an idyllic place. I think you need to get some really colorful fruit trees for the turtles. I love how it looks and I can't wait to see how it develops

Just saying but I think you should get angonoka, Pancake, Bolson, homes hinge back, impressed, leopard and spider tortoises and these include some of my favorites along with others and the angonoka belongs to the same genus as the raidiated tortoise. But the pancake tortoise is one of my favorites and they are called pancake tortoises because they’re name refers to the flat shape of its shell. The Bolsons tortoise is a kind of tortoise that lives in North America and out of the six species of North American tortoises it is the largest with a carapace length of about 46 centimeters(18 inches). The Home’s Hinge back tortoise is a kind of tortoise from Africa and it’s named in honor of English surgeon and naturalist Sir Everard Home 1st baronet and Sir Everard Home is best known for first describing a large extinct marine reptile called an Ichthyosaur in the first scientific publication. The Impressed tortoise is a relative of the Burmese mountain tortoise but the males are smaller. The Spider tortoise is a kind of tortoise found on the island of Madagascar and they are called Spider tortoises not because they look like spiders but because of their web like pattern of yellow lines on its dark brown or black carapace or its shell. The last kind of tortoise I think you should get is called a leopard tortoise and it’s a large and attractively marked tortoise that can be found in the savannas of eastern and Southern Africa and it’s a grazing kind of tortoise and in the wild when the weather gets very cold or very hot it will dwell in abandoned fox, jackal and aardvark burrows and they are called leopard tortoises because of the leopard like rosettes on their shell. And just saying but if you do get the pancake tortoise I think that you’re son cash would like it because of how small they are but also because of how fast they are and they are also an agile climber and they are rarely found far from rocky homes and they are found not far from their rocky homes because if disturbed they can make a dash for the nearest rock crevice and since they can be easily torn apart by predators it relies on its speed and flexibility to escape from dangerous situations rather than withdrawing into its shell and the pancake tortoise is also unique in that it exploits and takes advantage of the narrow rock crevices which no other tortoise can use.
