Blake if the gage gets compromised just get some 2x6 and screw them to the outside of the post’s and sandwich the wire to the posts..

Prison style for feeding. Small door that slides at the bottom of one of the walls. Slide it open and slide a bowl in and out.

That’s brilliant, proper dinosaurs. To get them to forage for their food, could you use a scoop and throw it over the fence so it’s scattered around the enclosure? I think a fresh substrate on the floor may help too, some bark chips, mulch, even just rotate the floor so they can forage as they would in the wild

Get a step steel rolling ladder where u could just walk right up and throw the food over the fence and would also have a nice angle for videos of feeding time

You should add different trees that get ripe at different times this way there is always fresh food on the trees

To feed them, create a raised platform on the end of the enclosure. You can also view them from above.

I use to feed lions and tigers using a shoot like you described. Make the hole low enough so you don't have to pick the big bucket up to high and hurt your shoulders. You might think about making a metal square on the shoots lower end .

I think it really looks great man :-) I wouldn't rush on the feeding part use the enclosure for a couple weeks and you'll figure out how and where you want to feed them when they're grown

That’s a lot of fruit to chop up, another reason to plant a couple Loquat trees, no chopping, I’d be buying all small fruit, cherries, tomatoes, plums, apricots etc. less chopping! 🦤😎‼️👍 I’m sure the quail is super healthy for them too!

you can add a platform at any one side so you can also have a good view and also it will be cool to have a top view . you can just spread there food so they can search for they own.

🔆Use a bunch of clothes hanger pullies (the ones used for the back yard ,,,you can spread them out all over the enclosure and would be able to feed them in random places all the time so they can Forrest for food and never get bored or plot on you when you go to feed them in the same spot. Attach the pullies high and use metal cables for wires ,make sure the bucket can swing to dump with a high pull wire and the food will appear to be dropping from random trees 🌳,,,awesome job bud with your Raptors 🙌💪🤙🍻

Build a feeding shelf with a window size door so just a bucket and hand just have to go in to feed are a barn at one end with sliding door close them out fill feed then let them in to eat also they will be used to being then so you can slide door closed to catch them for vet work are whatever

It might be doing to much but if it works it might be a good idea so a Big funnel that sticks outside of the enclosure with pvc pipe that that curves into the enclosure connected to some pvc pipe going down with bit of curve at the bottom that will hopefully help spread the food instead of falling straight down and making a pile when it falls down with out you having to step foot into the enclosure

You could make the door at the end into one them farm doors... were you can open the top and the bottom stays closed..or the other way around. You could even open it to just looks in with a clear view of them... Loving this video, watching them go in and poke around and stuff, its awsome Maybe you could put a section between the Aviary and the 2 birds (not even going to try spelling what they are hahha) Then you have a section for something new ;) Can still use the same panels so its all good one end to the other. (can lock all the chickens in hahha)

I think you should put those cage panels on both side of the beams and have triple barriers. Just to be safe. It will be bad if those things get loose.

U should pinch wire fence with a another wood like deckboard because those staples r going to rust and even just wind those staples r getting loose plus the deckboard would make it look more better instead of ghetto dangerous fence it looks like now

Create a aviary door with a feeding hatch on the inside and then you can encourage them that the corner for evacuation is a positive space for them and they’ll run straight to the corner whenever you go there

Just use a step ladder/platform so you can throw the feed over the fence. That way you can spread it all around the cage. They will then spend time foraging for it, rather than it all being in one place.

I think you could have a few different food entry points using PVC pipe... that way it'll keep their brains healthy by finding their food in different places within the enclosure - just a little bit of extra enrichment!!

You could even have a small wooden platform with a ladder or mini steps next to the enclosure, so you can occasionally feed them from above with a quail chick to keep them 'somewhat' close to you.

Why not make a Double Door @ the Perimeter Between their Old Enclosure and New Enclosure Where you can have a 5 feet Wide x The Length of the Gap between to Both Enclosure ... A permanent Gate that can be Opened on Both Sides and Perhaps 1 more Double Door Gates to access the Side and Back of the New Enclosure and The Front of the Perimeter of the Enclosures ... @ the New Enclosure Have a Sliding Door or a Hatch at the 2 to 3 feet of the Gate about 1 foot Metal Sliding Door or a Hatch 1 foot Height and 2 feet Width that you can Pull down to a Support beam that can be a makeshift Table at the same time an Access to feed them Quails , Frozen Dead Rats , and Other Food ... Perhap you won't need the Gate at The Corner of the New Enclosure ... But Another Exit Gate is Ideal for Future Access Route as Your Farm does some Expansion ...

i love Blake's optimism, "if we put a top on here we can put a Jaguar or a Tiger or a Bear in here" i agree, but they better be stuffed versions of a Jaguar, Tiger or Bear, i doubt that cage can hold a 800 lbs tiger, or a 800 lbs Bear,Jaguar's are smaller but they come in a pawed and a wheeled variety, and the wheeled variety will break out, the pawed variety will drive the wheeled Jaguar 😛🐆🐻🐯🚗 Keep up the work Folks, and don't forget to get some Honey badgers.
