It would be so cool if you added a little pool or bigger bowl at the bottom of marty's enclosure and put a few feeder fish in there for him to actually get to hunt something every now and then as enrichment and a little treat. He's so cool

Marty is awesome!! This past summer I went with my family to a Louisiana drive-thru safari and they had this bird, after watching all of yall (my Florida boys) I showed my family how to make the him laugh. It was fun to get the him going!!!!

Build some custom boxes for the birds to get them out of the sun, wind and rain. They may even sleep in it or go inside it when they are scared. I don’t know if you have made some already but I think it would be a great addition to your bird enclosures. Love what you do bro, big supporter of you and your channel. What would be really amazing is that the Kookaburra was left in its natural homeland of Australia and not confined to a metal prison. It's 2020, almost 2021, and most Zoos have been shying away from cages for many, many years. Might be time to update your policies???? Further, I presume you will supply its natural diet and not some cheap generic bird food?? I was unaware that Kookaburras are readily available in The USA for sale, being that they are native to Australia and New Guinea. Interesting video Blake.

I fully agree, that poor bird will NEVER hear another of it's kind, i know he said he might get another, but still, how horrid would it be if any of these animals NEVER hear their own again.... :( I bet 'we' wouldn't be allowed to bring over any of their animals over in AU... That's crazy can't believe your keeping a kookaburra as a pet, as an Australian that's messed up thank God our laws are so strict that not everyone can get one. That enclosure is no were near big enough you've clearly never seen a wild kookaburra the range they patrol is crazy. Normaly I'm fine with some of the animals you keep seeing one of our national treasures in a cage like that is heart breaking.

sir pineapple it,s not illegal to keep kookas here , for that matter you can keep any Australian animal, feather, fur or scale you just need to get the right permit and licence but i agree the cage is a wee small .
