I agree! but i believe its important people understand that quote is not about blind bravery or anything. The lack of fear comes from beginning to understand them. Thats when it starts to become a "magical understanding". Croc monitors and Nile monitors think differently than a lot of other monitors. They sometimes get too excited and dont pause to think things through like savs or water monitors. Not mean at all though.

They have but it's my understanding that while we as a community could band together and help there's nothing to stop the bank from accepting the back payment and then a year or two from now turning around and doing the same thing all over again. As long as they won't put the loan in Tom's name he's not interested in playing their games anymore. So he decided to just start fresh.

I recently had to get rid of all my snakes due to cancer. My BCC female was as big as this one of Tom's. The sanctuary that took her said they'd never seen one as large as her in the 40 plus years they'd been in business. I'm beyond despondent & utterly gutted about losing my kids. Dying from cancer I could care less about but losing my reptile children is more than I can bear.

I remember back in the mid-sixties or so, and hearing of Tom Crutchfield. He was in the military at their so-called venom for research lab in-I believe-Ft Knox, Kentucky. One of Tom’s associates had shared stories of him at that time and they all were impressed with his knowledge of reptiles. An icon in the Herp world! Tom C has been doing this professionally his entire life, perhaps over 55 years.

They did it to my daughter, she bought a house with double the property when she was 19, and when she was 24 they refused to take her payments and went to court and lost it to the bank. We found out they do it alot, and they almost always win.

In the summer of 1989, while in law school, I bought my third Suriname boa from Tom. Wild caught like they all were back in the day. I was going off of Tom’s paper list of animals and prices that he used to send out. I described what traits I liked over the phone and he said “I’ve got one that I think you’ll like.” He was spot on. Gorgeous animal that may have been a Pokigron. Not sure where he was getting them from, however. Tom was a true gentleman and a straight shooter. Hope he has better days ahead!

Literally everyone in the reptile community loves and respects you so if money is hard you should make a KZbin channel you would make some really good money with all your amazing critters. And if it seems like too much work I’m sure you could find a volunteer to kind of run the show where you can just go about your normal days. I can imagine I speak for hundreds of thousands of people if not more that we’d love to see even just the day to days of feeding cleaning medicating etc etc your animals. At the moment we only have an adorable little jumping spider as a pet... mainly because my daughter (11 years old) is on the spectrum and I'm spending a lot of time teaching her about ALL animals before we pick a new one... ALSO because a few years ago we put the last of our kitties down. Milo and Otis were my support animals and my first "children" lol. I have a lot of chronic & painful health issues and those two cats got me through so much in the 15 years my husband and I had them. We got them when they were only 6 weeks old. I think I am finally ready (mentally AND physically) to get another pet. I homeschool our daughter, so we are working on finding the best new pet for us. Our daughter Brianna is sweetest little girl ever. She is extremely responsible, never gets in trouble, has a little sass (everyone says it's my fault...and my mom always says, "karma's a b*tch, huh?" 😂🤦🏻‍♀️) and is extremely smart... so hopefully soon we'll get there! I use your videos (and a few other KZbinrs) during school to teach her about wildlife. She laughs during your videos... a lot 😂 She loves your sense of humor. I swear like a sailor (everyone kept saying her first word would be the F word - she has yet to say a bad word) and sometimes you'll let a "bad word" slip or you'll start to say one and catch yourself...and she just looks at me and laughs and laughs. My point is that you are extremely relatable, emotional, genuine, smart...as is Tom. Both of you are AMAZING men and educators and I don't know what I'd do without y'all! There’s a huge difference with the way Tom interacts with his animals and how Kenan does . Kenan seems like a great guy but appears terrified of most of his animals. I believe a lot of animals pick up on that nervous energy. Tom is calm and seems to understand how to communicate with his animals on a different level

Kenan was tutored on Croc monitors several times by Tom. Nobody even mentioning this seems strange.
