Blake just a tip: when you want to move a parrot with a stick, make sure it is a wider stick without side-branches, these scare the bird. On a wider stick, the bird has more grip with the feet. The parrot stepped on your hand because it's scared for the situation and the new surrounding. The bird recognized you and stepped up. In such situations, birds tend to step up easier without biting. Love your vids, you have a fantastic setup.

If the parrot has only been getting out since the box was put in, it's pushing the box door open, so needs a lock or brick on top. Also if they're house all together, they need a box per pair or it could result in fighting.
