Being raised in the country and trying to make sure you have everything your family needs to make it through the winter is tough when you are raised up on a farm. The part of the chorus “The Devil went down to Georgia” is a reflection on another country great, Charlie Daniels, song titled “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. If you haven’t listened to that song before, I really do hope you will! Charlie Daniels recently passed away and country music lost one of its best. RIP, Charlie!
