Not only is this humidor possibly the finest woodworking project I've seen on KZbin, but the composition of this video amplifies it. If there are awards to be won for KZbin videos, this one deserves it. The fact that you not only put on a masterclass of woodworking and design, but also shoot and edit it to perfection is impressive. I can further appreciate the time it takes to complete a project, balancing family and work life among other things. This is my first time stumbling upon your channel, and you have earned a subscription. It's a joy to watch you work, and the distance between videos just makes each one count that much more. Ok i don't understand! It clearly states 'made by hand' and in the first few minutes you clearly use a hand full of power tools. plainer table saw vacume laminator power sanders router. Ect. Is the by hand part feeding the wood in to the machines. Im just wondering. Is anything not made by CNC now concerned hand made. It looks good but I think we need to call clik bait definitely not as expected.

Nope, this would be impossible to storyboard. I just document as I go and figure out how to edit into a story later. I used to be a professional photographer so the camera work is 2nd nature. And woodworking has lots of repeated tasks so I have plenty of opportunities to film the same thing from different angles. Thanks!

I think the top of the box would have looked better with a round-over, it would have matched the diamond texture better since they have round-overs on every edge. Not that there's anything wrong with what you did, just an alternative option should you ever want to do more of this pattern/more with that router bit. In either case, looks great
