Theres a simple tool that jewelers use. It’s a board with a V cut into it. It’s used to support material whilst cutting with a saw. Easy to make and just clamps to the workbench when needed. Love the videos.

Protip for the hole saw: score the hole with the hole saw, then use a smaller bit (e.g. a Forstner or spade bit) to drill a hole inside that just touches the border of the hole saw. This gives somewhere for the sawdust to go instead of getting clogged up and burning it. This makes the hole much cleaner, the hole drills much more quickly, and your hole saws last a lot longer.
