I just wanna say how much this show has meant to me ever since it started. I have watched and rewatched it religiously and it has not only coincided with my burgeoning love for movies but also aided in it. matt and craig, not only are you both hilarious but also extremely insightful in your analysis of not only the good films you watch, but the bad ones. thanks for so many years of constantly amazing content!

I haven't seen this film since my dad took me to see in the theater and I had an epiphany. This is a live action anime. The over the top violence and psych-out scenes would have fit in perfectly in an anime film/series.

Yay! Y’all are back! Congrats on starting season 8 and the high views on Tough Guys Don’t Dance! Now to ask if you’ve seen “Mother, Jugs, and Speed” starring Bill Cosby, Harvey Keitel, and Raquel Welsh. It was a movie my mom really liked. I recently bought the VHS from Goodwill. It’s about a private ambulance company.

16:15 perhaps you are confusing it with the Shadow (1994) with Alec Baldwin - he didn't have the ability to physically change his face but had the ability to cloud other men's minds so they thought he looked different. The Shadow's costume was also very similar with the hat and the cloak and the scarf over the face

Great episode and welcome back. I hope in the future you talk about Dick Miller's passing as he was in at least 3 movies from the show. Partly to honor him and partly so you can do a round of movies for great characters actors that everyone knows when they see them but most people never know their names. To my shame, I always recognized Dick Miller but only his passing have I learned his name.

Great stuff as ever. I remember watching an out of context segment of darkman while pretending to be asleep on the sofa next to my mum as a kid and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. It wasn't until years later that I saw the deferred dissappointment of the rest in uni. Btw have you guys done artsy fartsy heartfelt film intacto yet? You haven't? You should see intacto. Uncomfortable father son kisses from Max von Sydow aside, it's strangely mesmerizing.

Another person in the running for Darkman was Bill Paxton who ironically brought Liam Neeson with him to one of the auditions. After Neeson got the part, Paxton didn't speak to him for over a year. But I very much agree that Bruce Campbell (as well as Paxton) would've warranted a MUCH better movie as opposed to Neeson.

Continuing my 7 season (now 8) campaign for "Flight of Dragons". The cover turns people off because they made it look like a young kid movie, but that is only because they wanted to sell more to that demographic.
