I love bo3 and bo4, once they made sbmm and disbanding lobbies it was all trash from there, disbanding lobby makes the game so boring. Zombies is over played, with the success of helldivers I wouldn't be surprised if they try to make the devs implement bugs and bots instead of zombies. The only thing that got me off MW2 2009 was getting hacked and locked out of multiplayer along with moving to the PS4. For a new game I don’t really care about new perks/killstreaks (they have done pretty much anything that exists anyway), as long as they d remove SBMM (which they never will), got the cheaters under control and tone down the skins flashiness a bit (again, never will because money) I d be perfectly fine. Maps should be new at least in a new game with a few remakes as a bonus but at this point we will take whatever good maps we can get ngl

@@edi0157 If you take the boots on the ground and smooth movement of BO4 and pair it with the weapon balance and map quality of BO3, you've got a worthy successor to BO2. BO3's regular movement is too sluggish without the advanced movement, but BO4's maps aren't as good, the weapon balance pales in comparison, and the specialists are too OP. I actually liked the manual healing and slower TTK, but I'd be willing to give that up in the name of a good game. Also you need to design the maps around faster movement. Returning maps in BO4 (specifically Firing Range and Summit) play horribly because players can move twice as fast as they could in BO1, 2, and even 3 without jetpacks. If you need to bring back maps, remake them visually but a bit larger to account for that. It would still take less time than creating a whole new map, but it would play more like the originals.

I’m a person who grew up on the old games, the classics if you will. COD 4 mw2 WAW black ops all those. I loved every game every year until ghosts. I didn’t even buy it. Played it once at a friends house and knew it wasn’t right. Pretty much took a huge break from the franchise until 2019 when the cod marketing team must’ve made their way right into my heart since they re booted the MW name. I actually really enjoyed that game. To me it was a huge breath of fresh air compared to every other game after ghosts. But I do agree, toward the later half of that games life cycle and especially into Cold War and vanguard is when they really went heavy with all the store bundles and stupid shit that has nothing to do with lore or a story. The series has just kind of lost its identity which is sad considering modern warfare (2019) really was on track to do some cool things with the whole reboot theme. That game played good it was so smooth, yeah the skill based match making sucked but it definitely wasn’t as thick as it is now with these newer games. I feel like the series was still trying to stick to a traditional theme of having lore tied back to the games story every seasonal update and even integrating the storyline into warzone was really cool. Nowadays I don’t know what they’re thinking, it’s obvious they just want to sell store packs at $26 a pop to kids. It’s sad man. 😢

I remember back in 2020 for OW when queue times were absolutely horrendous for high ranking tank and support players, I'm talking 10 to 15 minute queues minimum. Then they released a miracle patch in October where they nerfed the heroes that made the game absolutely horrible, and they themselves even admitted that there was an even distribution of players across all roles making queue times go down exponentially(down to 5 minutes max). It just goes to show how good these developers can make a game if they just listened to their players

Honestly, one of the things that lets me enjoy MWII is that the game makes it harder for people to sweat. Slower movement, less exploits like slide cancelling, etc means that it’s harder for people to play like crackheads. And imo, fewer crackheads makes for a more enjoyable, casual, less migraine-inducing experience. You can go into a match and have fun without feeling like you need a PhD is Slide-cancel Jumpshotting to compete. Reminds me of the golden age cods, before “advanced movement” became a necessary feature.

Why don't they fix the matchmaking? What's interesting is that COD Mobile seems to have it right. You can pick between ranked and pubs. You also have the option to play in a lobby again and have map voting. I'm still playing B04 until I see a better game. Don't want to wait 10 minutes between matches searching for lobbies.

Although you're right that people want new content and that's why they hate CoD because it's recycling a lot, the bigger problem imo isn't that they're just recycling, they're making you pay money all over again for the recycled content, and making the original content all but obsolete. my first cod was mobile and i tried for global championships on there and when i came to console i hated mw19 and bo3 but loved bo2 bo1 and even ghosts, i missed a lot of cold wars lifecycle not by choice and came back to the shitfest that was vanguard and i will say this, What i experienced in the window i had which was from cold war launch until just before the nuke event was the best cod since bo2 ik some people think it was a slow slogfest with no content which was a fair criticism to make at launch but after all of the bad stuff they have put out over the last 8 years if this game is gonna be cold war 2 i am happy bc i loved cold war from the moment i heard rising tide for the first time (for clarification i have not bought vanguard mwII or mwIII and i don't support their bundles i just recognize a game that has at least some soul put into it and cold war did)

I’ve been playing since Call of Duty 2, and in denial way too long. I should have listened to you when I found your MW3 videos last year. Won’t make that mistake again. It’s a shame, cause I used to love these games. BO2 was peak for me, master prestiged that and everything.

I have a miniscule amount of hope for Gulf War considering it is going to be under Microsoft but... I don't know... I'm conflicted but... I'll probably buy it but if it ain't any better than MW3 I'm stepping away from any new CODs but ultimately... you are right

They need to give Xbox the option to turn off crossplay in the game settings. Having to turn it off in the privacy settings is pain in the ass. The stupid pop up that you need to cancel out all the time. The extended time it takes to find a match sucks also.

I’m not even sure when the last time I picked up my controller to play COD was. We can’t even say these games are mediocre at this point. I’m done with this franchise entirely. I gave you a thumbs up because I always love your content but right now, I can’t even bring myself to watch videos regarding Gulf BORE. The only thing good about this game is watching you roast it. I bought cod modern warfare 222 (II, 22), to just get in some nolstagic feels. I played cod:bo2 and i loved it. so playing mw2 was fun at first. running around, shooting people feuled my ADHD addled brain. issue, I have spending issues, if I'm not looking at my bank account. I bought hundreds of dollars, and I really only stopped when the purchases from codWZ wasn't transferred to the next game, because "I don't own my purchases!!". Now I'm playing other games that scratch that same itch like TFI2, and TF2 (titanfall, and Teamfortress.) This man understands their thought processes, and what to buy, and what not.

Why don’t we all just wait until the game drops, play through the first free to play weekend, and then make a decision about the game. I think call of duty is hitting a turning point this year as Activision is no longer the be all end all for treyarch and their ideas. I think it will be interesting to see how this game turns out and if they’ll take the same stance with micro transactions as they know that’s ruining part of the game and the EOMM is ruining the other half. Cheaters are in every game nowadays so it’s just something everyone has to deal with

Black ops 4 was some heat, only complaints were how crutch specialist equipment was at times (reactor core,prophets drone💀) but everything else about it was almost perfect. We still had the emblem creator and heist was probably my fav game mode somehow next to league play

Higher base health in itself does not equal higher skill gap... it just promotes the use of snipers/shotguns to get that 1 hit kill regardless of 150 health or not. Higher base health actually kills the weaker guns and promotes a small meta which after maybe 2 months everyone will moan about wondering how this happened

Well, on 10v10 & Ground War, you can find a lot of noobies and average players, you will find way less sweats, but the servers are still trash...

I won't argue for or against this game, I've checked out of COD. I will say that it may have been a rehash, but no one will convince me that Cold War wasn't better than all the new MWs, Vanguard, WWII, and Ghost.
