Hey BlameTruth I know you have a good following on X could you suggest this change to the lead developer of Xdefiant I think you could bring more eyes onto this. Hey, I was just wondering if I could suggest something to be implemented in the game. On your mode, Escort the enemy team has to stop the robot from moving. Then, after a certain amount of seconds, if not moved by the opposing team, it starts to move backwards. I think if there is an incentive for the enemy team to stay on the robot as well the more people of the enemy team stand on the robot the faster the count down for it to head backwards. It incentives the teams to cooperate more to reach the checkpoint or disrupt the team pushing the robot to the checpoint. It provides more of a give and take if everyone is going for the objective.

So at least from the perspective of a CoD veteran with a lot of nukes under my belt, I’d have to say that probably the most important factor in consistent performance is to understand the core game outside of weapons. Understanding player tendencies lobby to lobby, typical player flow in maps, spawn logic relative to your team’s current position, and constantly reading your map and player death icons will give you the foundation to play well regardless of your weapon choice or even your gun skill. Gun skill and weapon choice matters but if you can’t read the game properly, you won’t be putting up consistent numbers

@@PsythoYT It’s not a skill issue Einstein it’s a mechanics issue. If a spam jumper runs up on a player that has the standard A button to jump on controller, he’s going to have the upper body/head damage bullet path advantage. x1000000 up close too. The spam jumper knows when he’s going to jump, therefore is able to anticipate the placement of his red dot throughout his movements to keep shots on target. The player with A button to jump, is 2 feet on the ground at all times, and with the bouncing up and down will 100% be dealing less damage just because of the body parts you’re making him hit through your jumping. It’s really just common sense

​@@FrankSelly The mechanic issue is quite literally in every fps game though, controller players need to move their thumb from the right thumb stick to the A button which exaggerates peaker's advantage in this situation as they can't counter by also jumping without sacrificing accuracy. A solution to this however is to use a different controller layout, or purchase a controller with paddles, allowing you to also while retaining accuracy (or just use kbm). However, imo jumpshotting is an important and fun mechanic which is integral to most fps games, but I do agree that the constant jump spam does need to be nerfed with a stronger fatigue effect.

Your tip about getting good or competent with everything is the best tip I've ever heard. Most content creators don't say that. Im an OG MW player. Always been good at games, esp FPS, and I've done exactly that over the yrs. When you get competent with everything, then when you switch back to something you are very good with, the game becomes super easy. It's a great way to get better and get outta a slump you might be in and help you lock back in. Great tip

The simplest and easiest anyone should know is: - Aiming while jogging(not-sprinting,just your regular movement) lets you ADS quicker - As well as Sprint Slide Canceling,which will ironically speed up your ads time.(You must jump as soon as you slide then aim down to see this effect).

Nice video man. Just got my M60 to 43 and it is so much stronger once you get some ADS walking speed on it. I have 30-40% total on mine now (depending on match) and it feels great. Hardly anyone uses this gun, people just don't like LMGs. The SMG loving people always hate on LMGs in every game also. I am generally a AR and LMG player in most FPS games, not a fan of the cracked out SMG playstyle. Glad you are enjoying the game.

Another way to help with B hopping is switch your jump button to your right analog stick (r3 for ps and rs for Xbox) I picked this up back in cod mw2019 and it helps a lot, takes some getting used to, but it’s insane once you get good at it.

Unless you're playing on a 4:3 monitor always set your vertical sensitivity lower than your horizontal sensitivity. This is because the length of your screen is longer than the height of your screen, so it needs to be proportional to each other. If you want exact numbers you can ask chatgpt to make the calculation for you based on what inch monitor you have.

Good tips mate. I'd day try to avoid the zig zags though and slide cancel instead. You want to get from point A to B as fast as possible, and that will shift your hitbox and make it a bit more challenging for a good sniper to hit you. Also the pistol tip was great, and it reminds me of the tech with switching to your knife for movement in Dirty Bomb. Once you're used to the tech you can use the weapon swapping mid fight to reposition or get out of dodge if needed, which is huge

Bro,you just said my number one tip. Start with the worst weapon,which for me is the starter marksman rifle,which has lower fire rate then the pistol with no movement buff,and damage is not rewarding,but get good with that all other guns become easier. I did this in MW2 before I found it sucked and quit around January.

fun fact if you know how to take apart the controller, you can permanently remove vibe. by severing the red and black wires going to motherboard of the controller and I did this my self too because controllers in my opinion are garbage due to them eventually starting to drift and then having to take them apart to clean them
