Yup. No SBMM means I no longer get stuck carrying absolute shit teammates who don't play objective, are more concerned about k/d, so much so they care more about not dying rather than moving and seeking a kill. Hate that in COD it's expected that when I'm doing good, my team is going negative or breaking even. When I don't have my best game, it's because SBMM matched me with cracked teammates and I can always FEEL it and predict it. Yet, unless ppl leave the match early, the game or score is always close. Absolute dog shit experience. Plus all the obvious hackers. Just laughing at those who thought greedy MICROSOFT leadership would benefit COD

Streaks literally can make you snowball every single match. getting a streak helps you get another and another, and the other team kinda becomes boxed and has no options. This is not a good gameplay loop. This was fixed by the MW1/BO1/MW2/BO2 streaks being weak af compared to BO3 streaks for example. in BO3 a guy got 3 kills, UAV up, 7 kills, Spectre up, the game goes completely downhill from there. Ultimates in counterpart, are a burst of power that only affect some parts of the game, not it's entire balancing.

I just played this game for an hour, and all I can say is I LOVE it. It is so satisfying to play, to win, to do elims with skills, with every gun from default loadouts. And it is not purely aim no-brain game, the stealth skill, ultimate and any other skill can be really powerful if used with purpose in mind. I have never even played CoD, i feel strong in this game, but with more skill to gain. I hope they will develop this game, it can be huge.

I am having so much fun with this game. I’m half decent at CoD and every lobby is brutal. I moved over to this game and it was rough at first, I got absolutely shit on. Destroyed. It didn’t deter me at all from playing. Now I’ve found a good controller sensitivity, learned how to aim (again), remembered how to play OBJ, how to read spawns etc, without SBMM every lobby feels different, it’s refreshing. Now I’m beginning to pop off in games and every kill feels rewarding. Wins feel rewarding. I’ve only solo Q’d but I’m looking fwd to playing with friends. The game is fun as it is and I think it can only get better. What this game really does is expose how dumb CoD has made people as players. It’s great to go in and use my brain again, learn the game and get good.

Bunny hopping needs to go. They need to make it so you get worsening bullet spread with each subsequent jump. Yes there is a skill gap when it comes to movement. You know where there's also a skill gap? In aiming and shooting your fucking gun. In positioning. In strategy. In knowing equipment and load outs and map layouts. The only reason why I want kill cams is to find out if the opponent is cheating, have only went against 1 guy who was heavily suspicious of being a cheater hitting every shot on everyone, and knowing where everyone was at all times. That's where the killcam could've been handy just to prove it. Can't be certain if he was some sort of a COD sweat pro or an actual cheater with wallhacks etc (because there is no SBMM)... I swear to god whenever a VTOL is used in my lobbies it doesn't even get 1 kill on many maps, people just stand under a roof and unload mags on it. My friend carries a secondary just to down helicopters the moment they appear on the horizon. Killstreaks are bullshit, they only make people look at the sky so that makes other team gather few more kills and that's a boring loop. There is nothing fun shooting a guy who is trying to down a VTOL called by teammate that I don't give a fuck about. Killstreaks are unfun, useless, and don't give any dopamine. The only people it gives dopamine I guess the ones who can not kill more than 25 in a match and they become happy when they hit 35-30 with a killstreak. Most of the times I don't even use cruise missiles because I hate to die during the stupid ipad animation. UAV and that drone is enough.

This game is such a breath of fresh air in my opinion. I’ve been having such a blast with this game, playing for hours on end even by myself, which is hard to do on cod. The game is getting hate from the players that only “glaze” cod and are realizing they suck at fps games.

I also agree on having a trade off to bunny hopping you shouldn’t be able to spam the jump as many times as possible. xDefiant should be xDefiant and COD should go back to their roots on what COD used to be. This is all due to SBMM and EOMM across fps games thinking people are a lot better rather than exposing people. @@mishimakazuya6167 MW2019 was ass, just like the other reboots of MW. One of the worst map rosters to ever exist in COD. Shoot House was the only somewhat good one. Also, so many unwanted added features such as leaning on things, deployable shields, doors which forced you to open them up and clear for claymores that all gave campers an advantage for hiding in corners with their sniper shotguns and riot shields on their back with claymores at the doors hiding behind a deployable shield that they could lean on if they prefered. The game was horrible, and so were the other MW reboot games. Only reason why people liked MW2019 was because you could double sprint and it had better graphics (+ warzone which I was never into). Once the second installment came out (the copy/paste) they realized it was shit, because it looked the same and had the same features...

When I first started playing I said it felt a little clunky. That was until I changed my controller settings. Issue fixed. I thought the ttk was to long, until I grinded a couple guns and added attachments. Now I'm shredding through peoples health. Issue fixed. This game is genuinely fun. Cod fan boys just stop. It's ok to play other games and have fun. Only Issues I have which are sometimes I do encounter bad hit reg and I think health should regenerate a little faster. Battle Royale is the exact reason why CoD started dying really fast. Every time they made changes or added something new, it was always in favor of the BR mode because they keep trying to ignite the popularity it had during the pandemic. Unfortunately, they don't realize that Warzone came out at the perfect time when the world was burning to the ground, and that level of popularity is never going to happen again. Also, people are complaining about there not being kill streaks. I kind of get it, but this game isn't trying to be like CoD. It's doing it own thing. I think a suggestion I would give is they create a drop zone game mode like from MW3 Classic. The objective was you're supposed to sit in the objective, gain points, and as you get points you get care packages with streaks. Keep streaks contained to that one mode for the players who want them. They get their streaks while also playing the objective. That's probably not what they want though.

Honestly agree with pretty much all of your opinions. I’ve played this game the last few days and I’m surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed it. Kill streaks would ruin this game and completely destroy the team objective play that its currently built on. No SBMM is a dream and feels so good too. The only thing I would really like to see added to this game is a “Play of the game” at the end. I feel like the way this game plays, with all of the multi-kill sounds, headshot sounds, as most importantly the team play (which is unheard of in COD nowadays)… a Play of the game clip would hit hard! Especially if they enable the lobby to select reactions too.

After 16 hours of gameplay I have the following opinion of the game: + The weapons are reasonably well balanced, the meta hits towards SMG's with the MP7/Vector/P90 and most play the ACR when using an AR but you also have a good chance with the other weapon choices, could be better. + The maps have a solid structure + The different factions have their right to exist and offer a good choice of game variation - (Already mentioned by Mark) Netcode is extremely poor and the constant dying behind cover is not exactly unique - There is little to level up, most challenges to unlock weapons, characters or grenades are quickly completed and after that there is no real grind factor - at level 45 I have already unlocked everything and still offer my time to the weapons where I want to unlock all attachments - Own preference: A slow mode like search and destroy is missing. A mode where dying can be a heavy burden on your team. Understandably, such a mode should be played without the character traits, just simple gun play. Otherwise everyone will be playing Echelon. I'm having a great time with the game and hope for many new customizations and content.

I can agree with almost everything here, the game needs to stand on its own, and cant just become a proof of concept to show activision how COD could be improved (especially since i never played cod, i like the gunplay in theory, but the games are too expensive and greedy for me, so hell nah) One thing tho that i will have to disagree with here is killcams I absolutely do want killcams, for multiple reasons 1. Cheesy angles, learning them and learning how to avoid them or challenge them. For example i recetly had a match on mayday where someone tac-50ed me from a really cheesy spot and i would have loved to be able to see where exactly he is standing and maybe even see what the angle covers so i can perhaps challenge them with a snipe of my own 2. More of a meme reason, but on some maps i throw "orbital nades" where i estimate where enemies might be, and throw a nade almost straight up which pretty much perfectly times the explosion to when it lands, getting me like 4-6 kills at least whenever i play those maps, and i would love the thought of someone watching the cillcam and going "what the fuck man" about that 3. Catching cheaters, killcams can make it really obvious when someone is just staring at you thru a wall and can help finding cheaters a lot

Spawns in this game are far better than on most CoD maps. I cannot count the times I have spawned in front of someone with their sights directly in the center of my back on that game and dying over and over because I am dead before I can even move. That used to never happen, but it is another example of how they are manipulating gameplay. Give it a few weeks and they will have the game polished up and playing well.

The people who play COD need to stay on that game... XDefiant is it's own game. Just as Team Fortress 2 its own game, has different characters that specialize in different weaponry. Medic, Sniper, Heavy, Spy, all working towards a common goal. In COD, everyone is the same, with the same scorestreaks/killstreaks.. So there is a kind of limit to jumping. If you jump, over 4 to 5 times, your speed drops, and you basically start jumping in place. Reducing the number of jumps would be a good change to make it more of a small skill based advantage during a gun fight instead of it being the gun fight itself. Also, we don't need a battle Royale. We need more characters, maybe some weapons but the current lineup isn't bad, and some more earnable skins would be good. Maybe make them faction based weapon skins? For characters, I personally want a division agent with a turret or the rolly pollies that explode.

You have jump decay after the first jump in xdef but you can still half hop infinity, it should be that if you half hope twice you can't jump anymore until you full reset, that would be a perfect fix in my eyes

For those that thinks it’s clunky, making an adjustment in the look sens settings can help a ton! I’ve been playing on 30-25 , linear aa type and 1.5x acceleration boost. And I think .95 aim sens. It feels a lot more snapppy in my opinion. Of course it all personal preference, but something I’ve found to help.

the fire rounds are like 60% of my deaths and they make snipers one shot to the guys with 120 hp. i think everything is viable but the ACR, M2, MP7, ect are definitely the standout best

I disagree with the Killcams. I personally think all competitive shooters should have Killcams, the point of spamming F to skip is why I want it. Its optional, if there is a player I want to see how I was outplayed it helps me do better as a player. It also can help spot actual cheaters in the game and report them propedly and send the devs the clips, etc. I think its good for all games but yeah everything else you said.

What do you think about towned down Killstreaks that are only based on utility i have puted in enough hours as well already when you play domination i feel like there are too many routes to the objective you need to be aware of too much flanking possibilitys and no utility to slow a push on B site.. Killstreaks like for instance a drone with a machine gun under it that will follow you for a x amount of seconds and start shooting at people when they are within range or that you can comand the drond to hold point somewhere to cut off 1 flank... Maybe shocksticks or something with electricity that slows your movements and does small dammage per ping. Maybe a flame turret or seekermines aka Pokeballs from hell 😂 its all already in Ubisoft games. I really feel like that such small Killstreaks really can make a impact..

The plastic container being heated contains PFO’s. These are chemicals used to soften hardened plastics essentially change the properties of them. A lot of them are carcinogenic and cause infertility whenever you heat plastic, if a food product or even water some any kind of liquid in contact with that plastic when heated April Leach, some of the pier photos into the substance in contact with the plastic. @@aayobruv Your correct this isn’t a true movement shooter , but what it is , is a new gen arcade shooter with movement mechanics. Cod 2019 introduced slide canceling first ( I think ) and popularized a simple but effective movement to break cameras and AA , it was fun but didn’t fit the COD style of gameplay ( even for 2019 MW ). XD however is it’s own game and not just some COD killer clone. Because of low TTK on most guns , raw aim isn’t the main skill gap , Movements are. The movement that your saying is bunny hopping isn’t just slamming your A button as fast as u can in a gunfight for actually skilled players. It’s a mix of slide canceling , air straifing and b hopping in a particular sequence depending on the circumstance. These movements actually take a little bit of skill ( on roller ) to effectively use to your advantage. Yes bhopping 24/7 should be toned down with jump fatigue but that should be it and you should still get 2 jumps in a row( also for mantling reasons ). Sadly most people just want to aim and shoot which is fine but don’t punish people who use mechanics ( not bugs , this tech have been in since the beta , the devs just want to tone down for the lower skill players who thought they were good bc sbmm on most games but now get shit on by actually good players. ) TLDR : this is a movement shooter for a wider audience , either learn it or aim better , this isn’t COD this is XD

Everything was cool until you said no killcams..we need killcams bro..there’s cheaters and so much more..with no kill cams or last kill or best play..it’s impossible to catch cheaters + sometimes people just wanna see how they died

Played Cod from Cod 4 up until BO3. After that it just continually went down hill. This game actually feels decent in comparison to recent fps releases.

8/10 Dude this game is mad dogshit I played about 30 hours of it and I WANT this game too be good but just has way too many cons then pros at the moment. the guns feel like dollar store pea shooters, the hit registration is janky as fuck, the hit box is also jank, bullet penetration? on everything but also on nothing?, the maps suck with sight lines everywhere, zero skill one-shot snipers/abilities, broken hip fire, no kill cams, no heat maps/body maps, only team voice chat, overpowered wall hacks ability that 80% of the players use, all attachments that dont give positive movement are useless, grenades dont recharge also have a tiny hit box, lobby disbanding, TTK is all over the place, doesnt know if it wants to be a clone of overwatch or call of duty, insane major microtransactions that have FOMO in a free to play game, 100% an asset flip and the list go's on. Since Ubifail doesn't care about their flagship games I really dont see them making this game better and will just take the free money and run. Can we stop with all this artificial dopamine hits and demand a real arcade pvp shooter? plus if mark rubin really wanted to make a good game he wouldn't sell out to Ubifail.

EVERY single FPS has Comments like that now a days. "Add Killstreaks" "Add Battle Royal", EVERY, SINGLE, FPS. I know C.O.D is popular, but for god sake why does everyone want to turn every FPS into COD/Warzone? Or at least everyone wants BR mode for some reason. I can see the Appeal of Killstreaks/Score streaks though, that I at least understand (rewards for doing well). Edit: Even Games on ROBLOX get comments like that.

Warhawk devs on the PS3 were extremely involved in troubleshooting issues when it launched. They were online real time with players trying to fix issues. It was incredible. XDefiant, on the PS5 has some serious network issues right now and it has been worse after the patch. Had a few lobbies with players well over 150ms and that should never happen in this day and age.

The game is still unplayable for me, having to mag dump every enemy just for one kill is absurd The his reg in this game is so bad,this issue doesn’t effect everyone, but a lot of people can’t even play this game Because Ubisoft took a extra 9 months for “finishing touches” and STILL could not get hit reg right
