you know what? please, let a 17-year-old girl be a 17-year-old girl, pure and shy, with nothing to blame her for! she lives in a country where English is NOT the native language, you people have to stick with it. Her rehearsal performance was absolutely good, but she didn't have herself in the background, as many other did, which seems to bother many of you, right? ps: shout out to Williams who profoundly tried to make her feel comfortable, thanks.

she speaks fluently in French and German! I heard also that she knows Dutch. Additionaly she is learning English! still more languages than any one who criticise her! She is very young, it's her first experience on that kind of event! and honestly guys, just watch her first interview, she is still improving, both when it comes to her stage confidence and English! William u are doing great job! You show a lot of respect to her! and the fact that you keep helping her with vocabulary is heartwarming!

It's not a surprise, Belgium (which is also my country) is a trilingual country. Here, people speak either Dutch (or Flemish, same thing), French or German and these languages are taught in schools, as well as English. Blanche is Walloon, which means that her native language is French. I, for example, am Flemish, so I speak Dutch and I learnt French, English and German in school. The Flemish are usually better at English, French and German than the Walloons are at English, Dutch and German but they're making great improvements in their lingual education so they're catching up. Blanche is definitely trying her very best to speak English and she deserves credit for that. :)

The Walloons in Belgium (like Blanche) have the option to study English. Plus, often English TV-series are dubbed in French. The Flemish people are obligated to study English, the English culture stays English here. I think her English is pretty OK for a Walloon girl.

I think she only appears so shy because she isn't confident speaking English... It's perfectly fine. A few years back, most contestants shouldn't really speak English... It's just that we are spoiled nowadays ha I really hope that she can qualify, the song alone deserves it...

She's very sweet. I hope she does well. She has a great personality, a great song and a great voice. If she can nail her performance she'll place very high. Also her English is honestly not bad at all. A lot of people put unnecessary emphasis on having a perfect accent but English doesn't need to be spoken with an American accent or English accent to be correct. She has a great vocabulary, she can express herself and make jokes, she's fine.

City Lights is one of my favorite studio song of this year's Eurovision but first rehersal was reaaally bad. She cant sing live and doesnt have any present of stage. Gonna be invteresting to see where they go from here
