My top favourites in semi final 1 1. the Netherlands (loved this from the start) 2. Austria (live performance needs to improve though) 3. Greece (although not my top 1 this entry does has this extra vibe that makes it stand out, could win this edition imo) 4. Norway (this has grown on me but the novelty might have worn off. Nevertheless we can all do with some fun in these times and this entry might win the televote imo) 5. Portugal (beautiful intimate song, if only the lyrics would have been 100% Portugese, deserves to do well) 6. Albania (one of the best performers this year) 7. Ukraine (like this entry and not due to political situation) 8. Iceland (this is a grower but might struggle to qualify) 9. Moldova (not my favourite but have a feeling that this might qualify) 10. Latvia/Lithuania/Switzerland. Honestly don't know. Out of all 3 Switzerland music and lyric wise is the best one but unfortunately it misses momentum. No 10 qualifier is unsure for me.

Guys I'm Portuguese and I can assure 100000% you that even us thought that Festival da Canção was wayyy to lonngggg!! RTP likes to do a thing that we here call "encher chouriços" which basically means running things in much more time than necessary. That's the main issue that the viewers keep telling them to change, but they refuse because they like to put on a show to remember the good old days.(I mean they can still do that, but they need to adapt to the modern days). I agree with everything except for swiss and armenia. I actually think that in place of those two, latvia and Lithuania might qualify. Latvia has extreme potential to appeal to the crowd because of their energy, and Lithuania has a very jazzy unique song that it might be kind of odd but also very impressive for a country like Lithuania to be represented by
