I am a lucky owner of the Titanium version with blue dial. It was a tough choice between steel and titanium but being able to see the 1315 hand finished movement through the casebook and the blue dial, was the decider for me. The engraving on the side of the case really doesn't show when it is being worn and the build quality is incredible. Mine has absolute spot on timing and the bezel is so tactile. This for me is a watch that has to be seen and ideally owned to really appreciate it.

Good to hear you love it. I have 4 Rolexes I'm selling and getting the blue titanium as well. I think it is the true king of all divers and I need it in my collection.

Love this watch. I'd wear it all day.

It looks so good on the bracelet...especially with it being mostly satin w/polished accents. Much better balance with the fully polished case. Also the red tipped second's hand is a perfect touch of color. Skirting pretty close to the perfect daily.

This is on my shortlist - and I mean for actual purchase, not merely wanting. Either this or the titanium version. I wish they'd do the stainless steel one with a exhibition caseback because that would be the best of both worlds. I love the high polish on this reference. The other contender is the GO SeaQ Panodate Bicolor.

LOL. I'm not gonna dis any watch. I'd be up for a Rolex Sub no-date. It's a high quality piece. But I won't pay the stupid prices and I won't play the stupid games to kiss up to ADs, just to get on some non-transparent list that might bag me one at retail in a few years time if I'm lucky. Also, the number people getting mugged for their Rolexes puts me off too. What's the point if I can't even wear the thing. So, that's why I'm looking at haute horology pieces that are not as well known like this Fifty Fathoms 5015 or the Glasutte Original SeaQ Bicolor.

@@stanwilson7040 Since this came before the sub, the sub is surely the knock off.

@Stan Wilson The Fifty Fathoms, the Submariner, the SeaQ are all excellent watches. Each has its own aesthetic that can’t never be mistaken for the others. It’s not necessary to put down one just to elevate the other.

Update: I bought a 5015-12B30-98B, titanium, black dial on the bracelet. Gorgeous inky black dial, incredibly finely finished with astonishingly solid build quality. Perfect fit for my wrist. I love it. Got it nearly 25% under retail too.

Tim - I love the watch. However, as an owner of a 126610lv I can't justify letting the Rollie go for this FF. I feel the FF is a better built high-end tool watch tho. The Rolex's bezel gets turned when you don't want it to - which drives me nuts when the bezel pearl is off. Screws are better than spring bars, absolutely. Beautiful watch.

My concern about this watch (which may be totally unfounded) is how fragile is the sapphire capped bezel? Will it easily crack or shatter in the event of a direct impact? This is a sports watch and theoretically should be robust.

If they made a 40 mm version with see through case back, I’m definitely going to pull the trigger.

When any other watchmaker does it it’s crass. When Blancpain does it it’s class.

Agreed, it makes it look like its an Invicta Pro Diver (especially due to the generally oversized nature of the watch). Cheap and nasty looking design.
@marcustulliuscicero9140 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, hate this watch, the engraving on the side looks like an Invicta Pro Diver, the dial looks like something from Orient or Seiko 5. The super shiny finish makes it look cheap. Obviously the specs are fantastic, but thats expected at that price point. shiney
