I'd like to see the FF in a 41mm size, that bezel is pretty thick. Its absurd to think they have only done that (40mm's) in very limited LEs, they have a Ferrari in their stable but refuse to let it out. It would be an undeniably huge hit.

I like the idea of getting a diver from a brand that isn't mainstream (although the coming Swatch X Blancpain colab will definetly put a spotlight on the brand, at least temporaily) but things like a non-hacking movement in 2023 are questionable for a watch in the five digit price point range...

So close to being perfect, hoping next generation of Bathyscaphe will increase the legibility (aka size up the indices, make bezel more readable and finally differentiate the hour and minute hands)

usually I don’t notice this when I look at watches but for me, this one is really about the color… I think the blue bezel doesn’t fit the rest of the design and looks off in combination with the “vintage” bezel layout, but the black reference is perfect to my eyes

Bathyscaphe is my grail watch, but I think that 38mm one is probably too small for average wrists. For a diver, at least. Probably a lot of people that can't wear the 43 though. Bet the 40 was the sweet spot.

In my opinion that would kill it. It’s perfect just the way it is, and this 38 is a gem. They should make 36, 38, 41 and 43 mm

Small wrist was checking a 38mm recently until I realised there is a different movement in it compared to the 43mm. It's the caliber 1150 (Piguet) which is what they used in their ladies watches, with a 3Hz freq beat, rather than their 1315 movement found in the 43mm bathys which is at 4Hz and 120 hr reserve rather than 100. Bit of a lazy approach rather than scaling down the 1315. I mean its not a massive difference indeed but it just put me off because usually you expect a scaling down of everything when you do a different sized version but not a calibre spec change entirely? Am I wrong to think like that?

I love the bathyscaphe but something is off about the proportions. Either the bezel is too wide or the indices are too small.

I have just a few weeks with mine in blue dial and I'm not impressed at all, my Glashutte sea Q 39.5mm in red gold destroys this piece hands down, not because of the red gold but because the level of materials and finish is way better, shit doesn't even "HACK" and if you turn the crown counter clock wise the second hand runs counter clockwise wise for a few seconds. It also a movement that's used on two other watches or a shared movement. It's not terrible but they should replace that tiny outdated women's watch movement cause it was originally intended for small women's watches. The bezel has play, the indices are tiny and look weird, a date that sits at 430 which I not a fan. Why did I keep my brand new example, a generous discount that's why so I'll break even one day and once in a while my daughter can rock it here and there,
