When we did backslides back in the days, touching the boot was not necessary, for balancing the grind. Touching the boot with the rail just accour, when the backslide was grinded in a sharp angle. Thx for the review

I have the most pressure points ever in this liner, particularly on the right side, so I think its an irregularity but also the design. I am trying the Danny Beer intuition liner in this skate, which feels better but still has some pressure on to top and I had to remove the insole. This shell in the 8-8.5 is pretty much the exact same length as the Them Small 909 shell, it seems not as much room to top of foot. Soulplate is about .25in wider than the Them.

They performed very badly with wizards. I would recommend them for smaller wheel grinding setups only.

Would you size these up like M12 because they are more narrow? Or do you think I could get away with the 8.0-8.5 (26.0-26.5)?

started this year with aggressive skating. Learned to Grind with starting to just jump on the rail and to lock on (without grinding). Later with some speed and now i can grind :) In the end its all about confidence i guess

Start on a curb or buy a grindbox and practice at home.

Work on stalls! once you get the confidence to lock on, you'll find it less scary to start grinding 😉

The only other skate I've seen folks from ShopTask suggest to use with Wizards is the Solo (besides the preferred Seba CJ), so these should work just fine for Wizards

The only Skates that fit me the best. The integrated shock absorber in the heel area and best working cuff buckle is top notch. Sadly spare parts are hard to get and the soul plate is kinda slow

Hey Ricardo! so if I wear the size 10 shell in the previous RB solo shell this is going to be the same size right? i find the toe box to be too narrow for my foot in that boot and I don't want to go to an 11. presumably this is going to have the same internal dimensions as the old solo boot?

I wore the 10 shells in Solos too & also found the toe box a bit narrow. In these you will also want the size 10. The good news is I feel like toe box is slightly wider on the Blanks.

Only tip I’ve heard is that they seem wide, so they are probably true to size in length but maybe too wide?

I think the 8 8.5 is a 27cm shell and the 26 26.5 is the size of the liner.

Honestly, I’ve never seen a skate in that size on any online shop. Roces used to do quite large sizes, but not that big. Adapt make all their skates by hand and to order so they might be able to make you something, but they are expensive! Good luck 🤞

@@urkcin9385 Hopefully Adapt can help you! The other thing to consider is the frame length, if you want aggressive skates then I _think_ 298mm is the longest wheelbase you can get. So you might initially feel like you're falling backwards and then forwards cuz your wheels will be well under your boots. You will adjust though and you'll find turning quicker. Anyway good luck 🙏

Phillips head screwdriver - 2 screws on one side under the buckle and one on the receptor on the inside if you need to change that as well. All buckles fit on all skates as well 👍

The liners are garbage. If you have a high arches like me then the top of your feet will be dead. Or if you have wide feet, the fabric on both sides offer no relief. After I switch up to my myfit Recalls, they feel like an. Awesome skate except that. Also I would have loved more middle when protection on frames, antirockers are harder on the medial knees for me. Might be cause I'm around 225 lbs.
