Yes, have been growing blanket flowers since last year…yellow then, but this year I found a red variety…i think I ended up with 24 seedlings this year. Can’t wait to plant them outside in late May.

Hi Sabah!! 👋👋 Thank you for asking your question and for watching our video. We would say you can overwinter your blanket flower by, first making sure it is hardy in your area (what hardiness zone is it rated compared to the hardiness zone you live in), then if hardy in your area, you can bring the container up to set against or very near your home, shed, garage, greenhouse, or other structure. This way it will receive residual heat from the structure that will help with keeping your plants roots from getting too hard of a freeze. Even if the plant is hardy in your area, it's roots are still exposed being in a container that is above the ground (if planted in the ground your plants roots would be completely insulated from any freezing above ground temperatures). You can also add about 1-2 inches of wood mulch to the surface of your containers soil to insulate the plants crown and roots even more.
